2012 in a compilation of pictures from my ride reports both on examiner.com and my personal blog. It's mostly of my sidecar rigs but there's a few of my R80 as well...
note: FWIW, clicking the youtube link to see it on youtube works best, and 480p resolution is minimum required.

Here's hoping 2013 is a better year for us all than 2012 was.....

Very nice video. As someone who is sitting on the fence about purchasing a Patrol, your video has has prompted a lot of questions given that you also own a V Strom hack. Although I live in the flat lands of Central California, the terrain you traveled in your video are the type of places I long to explore. Yet I'll need something to get down the dreaded California Freeways. Would you mind giving me a few pros and cons of each of your rigs? I have been following the Ural pros & cons threads in this forum as well as spending a fair amount of time gleaning information from the Soviet Steads forums. I intend to go three wheels in the next year. Feel Free to unleash your inner or outer wisdom. :ear

Looks like you had a nice riding season. Just wondering how your rig ran going to Pikes Peak summit? I made it to the top in '09 on my '07 Patrol but it struggled starting around 11,000/12,000 feet first gear only the rest of the way. I wish I lived in Colorado, I guess the grass is always greaner... :beer

Beautiful video, thanks for sharing! Makes me want to get out and get Fiona back on her feet. It would be great to meet up with you and yours on the trail some time. My wife loves riding monkey, so it's a good thing I have the hack. :lol3
