WDKR - doesn't flow off the tongue

    WKDR - does

Yes, I know what the acronym stands for, but doesn't the "WicKeDeR" ride sound better? or at least more accurate?

Oh heck no!! That nice little raspberry that I got when I went off the side of the mountain ended up getting all infected and it took a month to heal. :cry

I wonder if those warm mineral springs had anything to do with it...? :deal

If you would have laid off the hooch for a week and taken your multivitamins......it would have healed in 7 days.:rofl

You could ride Tin Cup Pass on the way to Silverton, but it is about 180 miles from Silverton. It in the middle of the state.

Tin Cup is a nice , semi-rough ride....but it just doesn't compare to the half dozen passes in the Silverton area.....

    Namely.....

    Black Bear
    Cinnamon
    Hurricane
    Engineer
    Imogene
    California
    Etc......

All you folks are going to have the opportunity to ride some of the greatest county on the planet. The San Juan Mountains around Silverton are very hard to equal.

I am in final negotiations on the BaseCamp. This place is frickin awesome and am 90% positive we can secure it.

The thing is, this place doesn't start taking reservations until after the first of January......so I am going to keep it under the lid....for a while longer.

Another change this year will be a full blown registration website. A fellow ADV'er has volunteered his services and server space to help out. We will shoot for a live site the first of January.

I will say people will be shocked at this place :clap A little birdy told me.

Oh, and cool about the registration site, that make things easier. Plus I might be able to score better door prizes (although hard to beat the ones form this year). It just helps a company validate us as a group...instead of some nut calling them saying "hey you got any freebies"...LOL
