Someone once said on here that Honda keep winning every year because they do so many miles in Baja, and they have the right people behind them.

In my uneducated opinion I think it wouldn't matter what brand of bike you put the Honda guys on, they would still be way up the pointy end at the end of the race.

Any brand with in reason obviously, I mean they aren't going to do any good if they are on a Suzuki are they.:lol3

As far as reliability reputations go, I think the CRF450 has got to be about the worst of the 450s, but they seem to be doing OK.:deal

If you take a step into the JCR shop you quickly realize why they are a winning team. Nice establishment with hard working people.

    Agreed.

Sustained high speed is not their forte.

Stators and engines tend to drop out of them.

    They look good though.

Latest report - ktm are done with EFI problems.

Since Honda make ktms efi system I wonder what version they got...;)

So it's now a race between Kawi and Jcr.

Jcr has a physical 90 second lead plus time adjust of 90 seconds.

    200miles to go.

Come on Jcr running that old fcr carby...:)

Once again our forum expert is on the money - not....the ktm is running a carb motor NOT an efi motor

Come on Don, what would you know...

You have only got years of experience building some of the most competitive bikes on dirt in Australia...

I bet you haven't had time to read stuff on the internet and hear stuff from some guys down the pub, so I doubt we can trust anything you say.:lol3

I thought JCR was running the CRF450X, not the "R".

Oh well, I guess you can't trust the internet sometimes.:lol3

The mighty carbed 450x wins it again.

What a race - ktm tried hard but just can't beat the Jcr team.
