We are back in the saddle baby! Well..sorta..there really isnt much prep left to do to the bikes so this will all be moving over to a ride report soon....however we have yet to introduce you to our transcoastal transportation!

Behold the mighty Astro van!............................... OK :deal...Safarai van!

This was the vehicle of choice! We were to put one bike on the front bumper, two inside..with 4 squashed "no u turners" and another bike on the back bumper!

But...we had one guy decide to drive the TAT in a car....oh dear.....he pacified us with the knowledge that no one else has ever done it in a car!

So, we sold the safari van and made $200! That will help pay for the fuel bill for the next machine which I just bought last week!

    Behold the Super Suzuki Sidekick!!

    1991 model!

Just look at all the room there is in the back for all our luggage!!

We might need a roof rack.

Anyway 3 guys will be in the sidekick and 2 bikes will be in tow with this little gem!

That is til we get to Iowa where we pick up Jason and then 4 guys and 3 bikes....

Picked this trailer up on the cheap! just helped a friend put in a "solar tube" into his kitchen!
    What a deal!
Tabs are good til april next year and i already found a buyer for $175 in South Carolina! We will drive to her house, unload the bikes, sell the trailer and ride into the sunset!:freaky

    or maybe to the beach.

Well I got the new handle bars on the DR!
No more left hand 3 inches closer to the fuel tank than the right one!:clap

    Dont you just love symmetry?

Id also like to take a moment to thank an inmate here at adv who has sent me a pair of handguards!:D

AKASY sent me a set of Acerbis handguards which have been on the TAT twice already!
When im finished I'll have to pass them along to the next contestant and ad my name to the list of champions!

    Thanks Sy!

I'll also note here that I found a BBQ grill to take along...it comes in the form of a HUGE sissy bar!

Never saw a sissy bar on a dual sport! I'll have to rig a helmet for my back if i ever endo the bike! :eek1

Well we are leaving from Seattle to pick up Jason in Iowa...

I got a fuel filter installed on the DR today. and a 90* one at that!!

Strapped my walmart backpack to the front rack
    [IMG]

Threw my $50 saddle bags over the seat
    [IMG]

The airhawk for a bit of monkey butt relief
    [IMG]

And the 5.8 gallon gas tank from an xr400 which just so happens to match up nicely with the dr350!:eek1:clap
    [IMG]

Add to that my free back tire courtsey of the bald tire pile in the back of the local bike shop
    [IMG]
Outta get about 500 miles out of it anyway!

Another 1.5 gallons on the back
    [IMG]

And we are all sorted and ready to ride baby!!

And our stickers came in the mail to plaster all over creation!!:evil
    [IMG]

Hopefully we will see some of yall out on the trail!
Will try to update as we go but might have to wait till we are all finished...time will tell!

In March of 2012 we began a thread in the "Upcoming" section on our upcoming Adventure Travel Tv Show.
Our goal was to ride the TET/TAT from Charelston South Carolina to Port Orford, Oregon.

We seemed a bit ridiculous, a bit of the under-dog :evil and so our thread was moved to "The Perfect Line And Other
    Riding Myths" by the mods.:huh

However, we have not been daunted!! :zilla
Well we were a little daunted..... and were perhaps a bit bitter .....and so we stopped posting in the thread:2cry ...however, to show our good temperment, we are back! :wave

Ok maybe we also didnt care that much as not many take us serious :lol3
Nevertheless we have produced a trailer for you lovely people!

The trailer to the No U-Turns Show's "Trail to Oregon" AKA our TET/TAT trip:

    <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/tjI-ODOZB_w" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

(In case the embed video has problems click here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjI-ODOZB_w )

This is our best trip and the footage is awesome, but we are hard working guys with mortgages and have almost no time to edit this thing..therefore it may take awhile for it to get done! :doh

Enjoy the trailer (which you can also see in HD on Youtube) and please "Like" us on Facebook!

    More to come!:clap

    Disclaimer::deal
The No U-Turns Show's first mini-series called "From Here to Mexico" is absolute rubbish and in no ways reflects our current filming...that was our first one..cut us some slack! :D

    Here are some more photos!

Here we made it to Blue Earth and the Jolly Green Giant!

Drove down and picked up Jason and the Logos that were made for us courtesy of Hagen Kustoms in Mason City Iowa!

They do all kinds of custom vinyls and paint. Check them out!:deal
    http://www.facebook.com/hagenkustoms

We then loaded up Jasons Bike as well! Oh that poor trailer earned its keep! :eek1

So did that little 1.6 liter engine in the car, oh man!! 30 miles an hour up the mountains in Kentucky!

We arrived in Charelston, South Carolina and found a ditch next to the beach to unload.

Good thing too because we noticed that the rear tire had lost some tread and was about to blow!!:huh
    [IMG]

We had agreed with a buyer a month before at a price of $175 but when they saw the trailer and that tire..they only gave us $140! :evil
