I think they had that during the season, it was the 8 weekends they actually raced. :lol3

did anyone watch or go to the races?
I saw the broadcast yesterday and the racing was awesome.
they kept saying how the crowd was pretty big.
I'm bummed no laguna broadcast, but it sounds like next year will be better.

Hayes has a ride next year. What else do you need to know?

Same reason there is not a silly season associated with who I might go on a ride with next year.

I usually make the ride down for Sunday, but this year I didn't feel it, if you know what I mean. It is a long day of mostly interstate.

I did watch the races last night, and they were competitive. I feel for Hayes, he is clearly the class of the field, but this year hasn't gone his way.

I heard the GM of the track say attendance was up a huge percentage (60% or something?), and if so, it must have been a great crowd.

They have a good on track product, but they are being let down by the sanctioning body at this point.

    Right on the money... :cry

So Tim, what is your next gig? :ear

    :D

    Motocross looks promising. :deal

Big crowds show and MX is fun to experience. Some places the crowd overwhelms the services, though. At least they did at Southwick...

I think you probably like the visuals already. I sense you would have fun practicing your art in motocross. At least the riders are paid to perform.

Actually come to think of it, the only AMA silly season news I'd be interested in would be to read Beaubier was going to Moto2.

I'm probably done for the year. '13 has not been a financial pleasure.

    MX/SX doesn't interest me. :dunno

Good for Herrin, taking the right path. No future here, that's for sure.

There was no one there this weekend, no crowds, no traffic, no police, hardly any vendors, nothing like the MOTO GP crowds.

Don't know if it's the time of the year or that MOTO GP was a couple of months ago.

Thay had the cars and motorcycles using the same entrance/exits and still no traffic problems.

Isn't it crazy how only just a few short years ago AMA SBK was eclipsing WSBK. I mean you had riders like Bayliss, Hodgson, etc coming stateside to compete! Now, AMA can't even make a full schedule. DMG and the recession have really killed the series. :cry

Maybe more crowds next year since it's widely rumored MotoGP will not be there next year.

Dorna is pressuring Laguna to bring the full show to Laguna; Moto2 and Moto 3. If they won't pony up, no Moto GP at Laguna. The DMG series is no longer a worthy support show.
