I do what I can,mostly caffeine based.
hey you brought it up not me but since you did. given the laundry list of Dean Wilsons injuries it would appear that assuming Asterisk checked him out that the overall system of how riders are allowed to get back on the bikes is lacking and in need of review. you plant it into the ground like that no way should you be getting back on the bike you're a danger to the other riders let alone endangering yourself. he's lucky to be alive that kid is busted up. not good to have someone take that kind of an impact and the ultimate decision to get back on the bike is the riders? there has got to be a better way. for a heat race no less?
Daytona short track on now on Speed. those boys don't fool around. :eek1
It IS a little more like real racing.
1 brake,a steel shoe,sideways as dog intended.
Of course I may be biased.
He said he had a concussion and is fine. That is what my daughter told me, She follows him.
He was done after round 2, you could see in his eyes Wilbur broke him.
From what I saw RV and RD where coming up to some lappers just before the sand section and RV got past, RD got held up.
Blake Wharton was penalized four positions for re-entering the track in such a way that it gave him an advantage. This was after he lost the lead due to his crash in the whoops. His 5th place finish is now a 9th. Looks like the rules do get enforced as long as you aren't RV, JB, etc.
>"some lappers just before the sand section and RV got past, RD got held up. "
I think RV got held up by lappers,
RD closed the distance between them, (the crowd yelled)
then RV got by the lapper, and then RD got held up too.
I think the rider spacing pretty much ended up like it started... before the lapper.
You bitch so much about 250 riders taking points and affecting the series, but then you say that the Asterisk crew (whom you constantly say is completely inept) should be deciding who should and shouldn't be getting back into a race after a crash?
I would think that telling a healthy rider who just had a scary LOOKING crash that he could not continue would affect the points, no?
What would Mitch Payton say if his rider was held out of finishing a race for points and then had a perfectly fine medical check? He'd blow-up bigger than I do when I read some of the stupid shit you post.
And yes, we know you can take a picture of your TV.
Mitch would like to fire the dumb fucker for ending up on the ground to start with.
no I'm saying all your bikes suck and you don't know how to service a foam air cleaner. spare me the drama these are real and significant issues. when a rider with Wilson's injuries gets back on the bike it doesn't take a very smart person (even you) to conclude that the current method of triaging injuries is in need of review for the benefit of the riders. genius. so
looks like this Thread just became a porn site (she looks a little messy) WTF
How about Liam Everets taking a ride in the KTM Jr Challenge from some deserving American kid.
He obviously does not have an auto clutch huh...
I read a few times about the pros using these,I was suprised by this and now kind of doubt it is true.?..There is a lot of stalling going on..!!!
Bummer about Deano,,who knows if he'll ever race again? To come so far racing from the time you could walk and have this is scary. That crash didnt look all that bad, gonna miss him outdoors.Lets hope no one else gets hurt.
His back is not broken.
Hope he returns for the outdoors.
Take it easy, opinions are only opinions.
