Every flagman needs to watch that video several times. Learn how to position yourself to stop as much of that as possible. Probably not possible to stop the first few hits but the later hits should not have happened, a flagman in the right place could have prevented several of those hits. Not just the flagmen I know, the track officials need to do a better job of placing flagmen.

That was on live TV and it seemed to take forever for the bikes to quit coming over that jump, I was shouting at the TV for a flagman to get on top of that jump.

I never shout at the TV.

That is just the half of it. I was there and saw most of it. The fans were yelling for a red flag. You can hear the pack going over the finish line jump which is right by the start and you can still hear that everyone was still on the gas. I saw some guys (fans) jump the fence at the top of the ski jump and run on to the track and wave their arms. It was a matter of 10-20 seconds before the leaders would have been hitting that jump again. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
I still get a sick feeling every time I see the video.
MA800 would be in the running for the championship if the races where 5-7 laps long. He is not afraid to go for the holeshot and fight for the lead. He just can't go the distance. If the Redbud crash did mess him up it is physical and not mental.

Actually I have taken video of races on TV before the days of DVRs.

I've always wondered what Alessi could possibly have been saying to Tedesco while he dragged his bike over and put it on top.
Crazy.

I had never seen that before. 2005.
I think we've all done some dumb stuff as teenagers, especially in a pressure situation.

You'd think after 8 years Skwidd would stop picking on the kid.

It was the same shit from 60's all the way through Ponca and Loretta's on big bikes, piece of shit family breaking contracts and shitting in the pool.
Fuck tony with a 4x4 fencepost full of rusty nails.
Anyone with any shame would have taken his kids to roadracing and stayed there, motocross and offroad is a family sport where people with integrity and love of the sport raise their kids.
I hope he stays healthy, I don't wish injury on anyone.
It's better if he doesn't have an excuse for failure.

+1, but I think Mike tried to change his ways last year in the outdoors with the way he was acting or maybe he got stuck at the airport with some Hare Krishna and started to believe in their ways. Either way the kid needs to cut the strings from his dad.

RV has been getting preferential treatment forever. He launches his bike into J-Laws face and comes out of it with a lesser penalty? :deal
