Anyone know why Zak Bell didn't ride qualify?

Edit: had a crash in first practice.

Also CR22 is going to make a big announcement today. No one is saying what it is yet.

Looks like our local #945 Stryker made the gate for the 450 heats. :clap

Only 36 riders, everyone made it to the heats. Last week was only 44 riders in 450's.

It doesn't happen hardly ever, but I agree with flug on the Asterisk calls. In the last couple of years I've seen way too many major impacts get dusted off and out back in the track, only to find out that they had major trauma.

I do not know of any emerg med pers who aren't watching this racing, seeing some of these crashes, and aren't wanting to collar and board the rider as soon as they've confirmed vitals.

The lawyers for the event must have written some pretty ironclad waivers for the riders (and parents) to sign to be able to avoid litigation.

Tonight's race might be interesting in this regard. I highly doubt that the asterisk crew are licensed up here, so they'd have to engage the services of the locals. Never paid attention to this before myself, but this sort of liability issue up this way can be a real bear if the Ministry gets involved.

This 450 main is only 4 laps old & may be the best of the season!

...until RV takes the lead and we all kinda know what happens after that.

I agree 100%,Ive been watching every Supercross race from start to finish for awhile, medical care looks like amateur hour, there's no set way to handle a given circumstance. Its like the medical responders are so wrapped up in the race they feel like they have to do something quick now right away.

Some of the crashes these guys take can be career enders if handled wrong,if a race has to be stopped so be it.
Its become a high dollar sport, more flaggers, more red yellow green lights like Sprint cars use, what ever it takes to control a crash situation.

I still cant believe the picking up of Chad Reed and running him off the track.............what EMT would do that anywhere at anytime after an incident like that? Spinal injury? We'll find out later.

(Weve had rain here in nor cal,the singletrack will be very good tomorrow, all decomposed granite trails and steep)

so...no Tomac. Looks like Roczen was one and done on the 350?

not sure why we had to watch Brayton run in 10th place for 2 laps. Milsapps pass of Reed for the lead via out jumping him was sweet. RV is lucky he didn't take himself out trying to run inside of Milsapps 2 laps in a row that made no sense in that turn. that sandy dirt made those turns nice and loose there must have been dirt flying all over the place. Forgot how cool that stadium is I onder how much a room was overlooking the action. Hahn made a nice plug for his helmet company claims be crashed with it and feels great! RV's continued fake swigs of Monster Energy Products aren't exactly ringing endorsements? You think they'd MAKE him drink it. I try to not go there but I just don't like Wharton. RC is goat and he's got like 30 less SX wins than McGrath?

Wharton seems beyond desperate to make his mark out there, takes too many people down, his passes are rarely clean even when they probably could be.
Really fast guys make it look easy.

The thread is about supercross, at one point can people talk about results?

I'm over KW, bring back ricky with all of his grammar errors.

Hey Ricky you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind, hey Ricky!

I think Ms. Supercross is has missed a couple trips to the gym.

The speed those bike accelerate in the dirt is just crazy.

I must say, this SX thread is one of the best these days. I don't follow SX that closely, but I learn a lot reading here. Thanks
