They let the girls ride outdoors, but not in SX.
Why is that?
Because they let the little kids ride SX, there was a girl in that mix at Dallas.
I think the quote is "little bit different than James and it was slower", you think it should have been " little bit different than James and he was faster"?
Either way, he just doesn't sound hungry.
so did anyone see at Atlanta post race when they returned from a commercial and had a seating section view of the podium area? you could see Stewart chugging a bottle of water, hands it to someone, they they hand him the Red Bull can with the big straw on it.
The Muscle Milk guys are even worse. Dude. That thing i empty.
Danica dont ride bikes!Seriously the outdoors is where its at for me,room to PASS,holeshots dont mean EVERYTHING,conditioning is more IMPORTANT.Girls are too SMART to ride indoors! They have enough trouble finding rides for the MEN.
keep up the good work there may be hope for you yet.
Podiums are all that James has left at this point. I agree the riders are riding at 95% this year. Last year they where riding at 110% and look how that ended.
Read the article by JT$ in Racer X, pretty much explains it all.
+1. That's why Alessi and Bagget do so good in MX but not SX. It takes so much more throttle control in SX and AX. MX its just pin it to win it and whoever is the fastest with the most stamina wins.
SX is all about starts and not crashing or even bobbles, its literally racing for 10ths of seconds now.
I wonder has the math been done? meaning if Stewart wins out assuming #1, #18, #5 keep making the podium for the most part, I'd be curious to know should Stewart be stellar for the rest of the year how far up the standings he can get.
He is not mathematically out, but the top six would all need to have a couple no-score rounds for him to get close.
1 18 David Millsaps Murrieta, CA 174 25 20 18 22 22 25 22 20
2 1 Ryan Villopoto Seattle, WA 152 5 22 25 25 13 15 25 22
3 5 Ryan Dungey Belle Plaine, MN 148 20 13 15 20 25 20 20 15
4 41 Trey Canard Shawnee, OK 135 22 16 22 18 14 13 14 16
5 22 Chad Reed Dade City, FL 127 18 18 20 9 16 16 18 12

7 29 Andrew Short Smithville, TX 102 15 12 14 15 15 12 12 7
8 7 James Stewart Haines City, FL 100 13 14 9 2 18 18 1 25
Even Dungey and Villopoto are going to have a tough time catching Milsaps if Davey just stays steady.
should Stewart go on a tear I don't think he has to worry about catching anyone but the present top 3. I like Canard as much as the next guy but I don't see him setting the world on fire at this point we've seen 8 races and he doesn't seem to have what he needs to start making podiums especially if Stewart starts standing on them routinely.
If you know you are out matched at a particular race, settleing for second is the smart thing to do. There was no need in pushing harder to pass Stewart if he's not in the championship hunt. RV left Atlanta with a couple more points than DM and in one piece ready to fight another day. This is how championships are won.
the way I see it if Stewart won at Dallas he might be in 5th.
And he would have won it by the looks of how he was riding.
To get a good take on these guys attitude, or at least one of them, Villipoto, watch the Ryan Villipoto story
Even though each of them has a slightly different story there has to be a lot in common.
already saw it, much better on youtube without the commercials. not sure what it has to do with Stewart still having a very very long shot to win the 2013 title?
oh yeah. for playstation.
Nothing. Just a look at the racer attitude after a few years at that level. I think probably a to some extent a shared attitude.
Am I going to have to get a Playstation?
Who's gonna be at Supercross this weekend besides me?!?
