I'll be there. Hope we get to see a race this week.
Bring it. I'm quite proficent on MX vs ATV live, which features James Stewart.
On another note, where is Justin Bogle?
Yes! I'm in section 111.. we'll be down in the pits too.. can't wait.. hopefully we'll see some good racing and not just follow the leader for 20 laps
I'm generally sort of mediocre at Playstation stuff, rarely get any time on one though.
I've been wondering about Bogle, he lives not far from here, I'll have to ask some of the 'kids' down at the Honda shop, they keep up with that kind of stuff.
I just happen to own one. Not a big gamer but played Black Ops for months on end, and played MX vs ATV till I got good enough to dust the All Time level of riders, though I haven't ventured online to play.
Bogle broke both of his wrists awhile ago, not 100% but would like to race,. looks like outdoors for him...from my 17 yr old who knows everything.
I wondered the same when we didn't see him in Dallas. Later I read somewhere that he had been injured. Not sure where I read it tho.
can't imagine how..
seriously that sucks. that kid made the drive to unadilla's parking lot and the trek all the way back to sky shot worth it just by himself.
Any thoughts on what might have happened if he locked his front wheel mid-flight?
Bogles jump in the link I posted. it could have a big effect. possibly.
did Evel Kneviels front wheel rotate all the way though his long jumps?
Zack Bell was out of shape on that jump from start to finish and was in the process of folding under pressure plain and simple and thats why he went down - I don't care what the goat (just ask him but not me cos he aint) says's - sometimes goat talks without thinking. as in quite often.
Nope, and he crashed a lot.....duh!
Seriously, that was a dumb thing for RC to say. Geeze, he should know better.
I was thinking more about Blake Whartons last turn biff we watched at Dallas in his heat and taking that poor 9th place rider out and then calling it a racing incident or whatever. He's full of shit too he fucked that 9th place rider big time there was no way he was making that pass without taking 9th place out and he didn't make the pass (hello) and on top of that 3-4 more get piled up in the carnage. Racing incident my ass.
Geez...somebody needs to get laid.
Peter Larsen Menifee, CA Honda CRF 450- Is moving to the Eleven10 Mods Yamaha team and the 250SX class for the rest of the eastern rounds.
I hope nobody gets their panties in a wad because this guy is moving down to the 250 class to cherry pick and disrupt the points championship.
He's 22nd in the 450's this year (and finished 18th last year in the Lites East), so I doubt he is going to be very "disruptive" in the 250's.
He might get a good start and take Deano out.
^^^^^ this. You just never know.
Zack was NOT under pressure! He had a solid lead and no one trying to pass him. He crashed alone. And you speak of talking without thinking...
So you get your first good look at the crash on a TV replay, and you are qualified to say he has a possible head and/or neck injury? Your medical degree is in what specifically? Internet Asshat-edness?
And then you rave, AGAIN, about how cool and badass Reed is for getting back on the bike after his big off in the outdoors. Wasn't that fall just like Zack Bells? Hitting the ground from 30 feet up? Couldn't he have had a head or neck injury?
At least Bell didn't jump back on the bike right that second like Reed did! But if he had maybe he'd be your hero instead of Asterisk being your scapgoat.
If RV1 was doing the season points in his head as he rode, why didn't he realize that making up 2 points a round on Millsaps isn't going to win him a title?
That's kind of my point, he realized 3 more points also wasn't going to win him the title. I think his mindset is just to do as good as possible without taking the kind of risks he would have a couple of years back, trying to push past Stewart would have been a HUGE risk. Yeah, he knows WSBK was won by 1/2 a point. (I think?)
After watching interviews with several of these top guys I get the idea almost all of them have decided they don't earn points laying in a hospital bed. I believe we all like to see racers pushing the edge, running 110% makes an exciting show but week after week it takes it's toll and the last man standing wins and we start complaining about lack of competition and want an asterisk beside that season.
Except 'Flug, he wants no more Asterisk
try to keep up. nobody was passing Zack when Zack went down and goat said the reason he did was because his front wheel wasn't rotating?
