The word was Lorenzo was going to pit on lap nine but for whatever reason he didn't pit until lap ten.

Marquez may have been riding around repeating to himself "I must come in one lap after Lorenzo, I must come in one lap after Lorenzo........"

So I guess that makes it Lorenzo's fault :hide

It looked to me a bit like Maquez was trying to push Lorenzo into some sort of speed limit or similar error for the lap nine exit.

When Lorenzo picked it and went the extra lap, Maquez lost the plot.

G'day Woop Woop. Fancy that - two Gympie boys and we both come to the same conclusion!

Obviously, it's gotta be fact. :nod

I'm not surprised at $290+ for a Grandstand Ticket
    Sepang was $51.20!

Numbers have been in decline ever since Gardner and Doohan, when i went to those races, Attendance was high 80,000 to 90,000 over the 3 days.

Australian MotoGP Grand Stand ticket $290+
Sepang MotoGP Grand Stand Ticket $51.20

I've always thought the MotoGP attendance numbers have been on the decline ever since the days of Gardner and Doohan, when 3 day numbers were in the 90,000's!

Since those heady days of 6 deep at every section of fence, i have never seen it like it since.

    Interesting....
I know a bunch of blokes who go across every year in a large group, ADV, sporties & touring bikes and after last year swore never to return.
Not due to the Race but due to the attention they received from Plod on the way over & back.

Costs are a factor for sure. :deal
But I think they had well over a 120,000 last year. :deal Over 50,000 on race day. :deal

G'day Pete. I've got something to report, and it ain't good! Unfortunately the Rent a Nazi were out in force. For the first time in 12 years our access was restricted. Turfed out of pit lane Friday arvo, not even allowed in Saturday arvo:huh!
So I guess that will be the last time. Like there needs to be SOME incentive. It's not like every trackside position is primo, and standing in sometimes freakish weather all day for three days deserves something more than a badge and a few free beers.....
Back to being a muppet on the hill. Bugger.
