    New Moto and Side by Side stage to boost action in Busselton at the 2013 Quit Forest Rally

    <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>
    The 29th running of the Quit Forest Rally this April has been given another boost with the City of Busselton approving a Moto and Side by Side track to be built on the Busselton Foreshore during the event.

    The track, which will be built next to the Busselton Toyota Special Stage &#8211; see map attached, will add another element of excitement to the event and allow for spectators in Busselton to witness Motobikes, Quads and Side by Side All-Terrain Vehicles to competing for the first time.

    The Super Special Stage will be sponsored by Trade Hire who will build the track, maintain it during the night and then restore the foreshore afterwards.

    Event organisers are expecting a field of around 25 Motobikes and Quads and 10 Side by Side to contest the event.

    &#8220;When we first added the Quit Forest Rally Moto to the event in 2010 the feedback from spectators and competitors was overwhelming,&#8221; Quit Forest Rally Clerk of Course Ross Tapper said.

    &#8220;Now, to be able to showcase this competition along the Busselton Foreshore is another fantastic addition to the event. The fact we can now offer spectators in Busselton the chance to see Australia&#8217;s best rally drivers alongside some of the best rally moto riders in the country will be a huge boost and I can&#8217;t wait to see it myself,&#8221; Tapper said.

    Okay, so I've committed to another year as Clerk of Course for the 2013 Quit Forest Rally-Moto. I'll don the helmet another year!

    After last years event I proposed something a little different for the Super Special Stage activities for the Friday night on the foreshore of Busselton. The idea was to bring something a little different and exciting for the Moto's, Quad's and SxS's to make things a little more "interesting" in front of all the spectators. It looks like we're managing to put something together that should get the crowd even more excited than previous years but especially give the Moto's, Quad's and SxS's a real reason to front up and do more than circulate:evil. Watch this space for more news as we develop the plan:deal.

    It's going to be good!:clap

    I used to do a bit of C of C back a few years when my boy was racing Motocross, did a bit of marshalling and so on, was an official at Aussie junior titles in 88 in Manji but haven't done any since. I'll have a chat with you at some time John, be good to see you on the bars instead of hanging around like a stale bottle of beer.:deal
