Thanks BMW Motorcycle Magazine for logging miles with the Fort Rock Top Case - you've already lightened your load considerably by riding Giant Loop vs. a hard luggage tail rack system!:clap

We blogged about a great First Aid article in the August issue of Cycle World, where editor-in-chief Mark Hoyer discusses his experience with incidents while riding and lists contents for a Motorcyclist's first aid kit. Check it out!

Great video from GL riders in Canada. Our roots and origins are in small bike camping - love it!:clap

Some may have heard of the crazy weather in Colorado, where we are working at the KTM Adventure Rally. A rider received a call while visiting the booth and was told that the road was closed to his house because the heavy rain storms caused gully washers, that turned into mud slides. Hope the best for all those affected by the adverse weather. Anyone headed this way, ride safe! Right now it is raining again and I wonder if the riders camped out in the area, are keeping sheltered enough to get some rest. Here is a shot of what the ski hill looked like after a very windy storm cell passed the rally site, this afternoon.

Snowhawk Jockey and I are headed home after the KTM Adventure Rider Rally in Steamboat Springs, CO. Here are a few pics of the new KTM 1190 Adventure R with Giant Loop luggage, as well as some mounting and fitment details for our new Rogue (17 liters) and Tillamook (38 liters) Dry Bags, which will be available later this week when the package arrives from the printer. Sign up for our email list, or subscribe to this thread to get the announcement about these and other late season Giant Loop releases.

Thanks Gale for helping Cal slim up and get onboard with the "go light, go fast, go far" approach to packing. Even with those massive metal boxes, his bike's going to handle a lot better without that unsightly gear pile stacked on top!

Nice shots from Mark at Sierra Nevada Adventures, out pre-riding the Henness Pass to Virginia City tour on his KTM 990 Adventure. Mark's chosen GL's Siskiyou Panniers, Dry Bag and Fandango Tank Bag for his "go light, go fast, go far" motorcycle expedition packing system.
