Better than last year for sure, but still not good enough to keep up with the fun kids. I still have a few months to go I suppose, we'll see what trouble I can get into by then. Thanks for the plug! :lol3

Warned are we? Hummmm what to make of that? :scratch You've been around for awhile but only 21 post. You're a quiet little bugger aren't you? How can I dig up good dirt on you when you don't post the good stuff.

On the IN list with the fun kids you go. Welcome to the fun. :D

Yeah, us Mikes are awesome guys in many respects.

When I read that, I thought you were talking about the wiley and mischievous beer. It's been my experience that a herd of Mikes tends to encourage them. Bears, now... different story.

Dr said I should be riding by this time. Surgery went well for both of us. Healing up nicely. Looking forward to the event as this will be when I will be cleared to ride off road.

If there is still a spot for me to put up a small tent. Add me to the IN list. Wanted to go last year. I made sure this year I could get time off work.

I have started my yearly "scouting " rides to make sure the roads from the Clarkston area are rideable by June.
The Meyers Ridge road is good heading out of Asotin. The road ends up at Anatone but today there was a storm sitting on the Blues so I didn't go there. Usually there is a line of mountain instead of the line of cloud. I was at the point where the road doesn't get any gravel so it can get slimy and it was today. Riding into a snow storm on a slimy road and then back tracking ( likely snow drifts near Anatone) didn't appeal to me today.

If the weather and work allow I will probably do Joseph creek next week, maybe take some hot dogs and roast them over a stick fire. Below is a picture from a winter Joseph creek ride last year ( Feb 5th ) , near the mouth of the Grande Ronde River. The Big Horn sheep are usually close ot the road, that day they were on it and didn't want to move for me.

And tukeys on Joseph creek, very close to where my great grandparents homesteaded in the 1870s.

What do you mean "if"? You have close to 5 months to get ready for fun. Take care of yourself so there is no "if".
