The dealer in Australia sent me a copy of the maintenance schedule. The valves are inspected every 8000 miles. I will try to put a link for this schedule later today. Cams only need pulled if the valve needs adjusted and I understand shim under bucket rarely need adjusted.

I do not understand why this didn't work.

    I know, right?
That 4/4 exhaust looks great from this angle. The whole bike is a study in classic proportions. :evil

Good looking exhaust but it looks like the center stand was lost in the process.

I got one dealer who wants my business but now he claims early to mid May for delivery?

    Good eye.

Kind of funny, bikes like this used to come with 4 into 4 pipes and a centerstand, and you'd have to ditch the stand to change to an aftermarket 4 into 1.

Hopefully, the intake and exhaust valves will have a track record of staying within the spec; especially with what will be a relatively low'ish revving and under-stressed large displacement I4. Valve inspection is easy enough I suppose, but having to do cam pulls with those intervals would be a pain in the ass unworthy of a 2013 motorcycle. Wasn't motorcycle technology developing past this silliness? Hell, the new Duc engine has intervals longer than my Suzuki.

As soon as the dealer I've been speaking to gets back with a price, I will be.

It was an email with an attachment. I just clicked the top left of the page (URL I think) and clicked copy and went to the post and clicked paste. No one seams interested anyway so I'm done trying to help. I went to a lot of trouble contacting shops in Australia where this bike is now available to get this information. My dealer doesn't want a deposit until they can actually place an order. At that time I'll probably buy one. As I said they quoted $9300 out the door plus state sales tax. Already everyone want to change it. Bigger tank etc. Whats wrong with it like it is?

I'm with you. I like it.

Being in metro Boston, the tank size isn't an issue for me... I'm used to the Monster though, so I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty with the valves either... :lol3

Yeah,I ride a 99 Triumph Trophy 1200 all around, its like a vintage bike with water cooling, but it does go 140 as smooth as can be,also flat squirts around any kind of corner with out dragging hard parts.
Pulls hard to 9 grand but will pass cars at 4 grand like they werent there.
It works. Naked bikes are neat till it rains,or gets really cold outside.
