Nice! My Terra was a little over $7300 OTD about two months ago.

What was your base price? This is $5999 for the Strada (what he was talking about I believe) and $500 less for the Terra ($5499). He was estimating tangent costs as well. You are the expert, so tell us. Was your base price $7300 or did that include any DMV registration and tax too?

    Thanks!!

Mine was 7850@ out the door, with a 6700 selling price. Sure would like it for a $1000 or so less, but I wouldn't like it any better! MSRP is fair on this bike ---

Perfect! Thank you very much. A dollar percentage may now be calculated (for an estimate).

    7850/6700 = 1.172 x 5999 = $7029 for Strada CA

Put a stick in the mud, we have an estimate! This bike has an ultra sophisticated pollution system, but I don't think even in CA that motorcycle pollution is any big deal like the rip-off car 3 ring circus between CA dmv-mechanics-pollution testers (now THAT should be against the law!

I need to test ride one soon and figure how to make this happen.

People on this thread rock! Thank you gratefully. This really is a dream bike.

I picked my terra up yesterday from fast by ferracci, 5400 tax tags out the door! Does anyone have any suggestions for windshields? I found this one from national cycle. [IMG]

That's what I have on my Honda NH 750 (the brand). Those are great shields at a great price. They even know how to bend the thick shield material. Funny, they usually jump on the big selling bikes or universal.

I am so impressed by my commuter with the 2 bar, 2 fork mounts that I'll go with that above my favorite Parabellum mainly because it's easier (getting $30 of ss/plastic/rubber screws/washers/nuts takes a day or two right there finding them. On my nighthawk, its a little bigger windshield fairing and it does cut through like a fairing. Top quality parts!

** Wow! $5400! That's cheaper than on-sale retail! How did you do that? Please give me some hints and any other secrets of life you care to offer!

Does anyone know any thing about if the oval pistons are on these 2 bikes? That sounds like a husky motocross feature a while back in memory (somewhere).

Millinium makes pistons, cylinders, and heads for factory racers at very competitive rates so it is no problem to me.

I just wanted clarification if that was what was on this specific bike.

Cool video at the end of the last page. I really don't know why you guys like moving your organs around like that, but it was cool: no doubt about it! :clap

    Thanks!!

Those aren't available. Not sure what Gateway BMW is doing, but there was a guy on CH that bit that bait and it's still likely June or July.
