thanks. plus you can fuck around with them more in IPhoto than a regular shot..
I dont like it much thats just where I ended up for the 2nd 250 moto.
Id be MUCH HAPPIER on your side of the track .
Great shots again as always.
Southwick 250 LCQ leader. last lap.
Dakota Kessler remembering what his father Mickey told him about weight back in the sand.
behind every great man there stands a woman..
SW 250's. All 3 Geico Honda's are up front.
After the left hand first turn there is a sweeping right hander. Not sure if this is Buckley's turn? They put a big sand wall in the middle so you're either going inside or outside like it or not.
Noticing easily more than 1/2 of the pro's not wearing a neck brace.
James Stewart showing why neck braces may not be such a bad idea.
I'll be over near U2 with this.
I'll be there with this.
I could keep posting pictures and I will, but the message gets lost. If anyone is thinking about going to see these guys ride in person. Do it. Go watch them in the first turn en masse. Go watch the 5-6-7 riders in the LCQ trying to get up to 4th.
Go watch the biggest jump on the track during lap one of the 450's.
I still get chills watching and listening to this and I've never been to Red Bud.
Todays pro MX riders are the best riders on the planet bar none and admission is pathetically cheap.
Well my son and a friend(and their girlfriends) went Wednesday to Redbud. He planned on racing 250"c",and two stroke.Practice went well yesterday. One pretty hard get off,but he has a hard head.He called this morning, said he got the holeshot in his 250 qualifier, and led for a while. He got passed but held on to second. Then his bike started acting up.he couldn't finish. He told me he thinks he broke a reed, hadn't investigated yet.I felt bad for him because he's been getting ready for a long time. He's normally a "b" rider around here, but felt more comfortable running "c" at such a big track.I dont know how his buddy did,hes a big kid but still rides a 125,although he's raced Redbud before.Maybe he got some pics,he recently got a Go Pro.Thats all I know for now. They can party toniteand watch the action tomorrow.
They rode to pro track? I thought they ran on the smaller practice track up front.
Weather is going to be perfect this year. Sunny and 80 degrees. Can't wait.
Simply awesome pics Flug!!
thanks dudes. it was a heck of a lot of fun being that close to that level of riding. funny I'm no longer star struck like I was by Lackey and Weinert back in the day. At Budds Creek after the first 450 moto I was taking pics right in front of the podium on the left side by the ramp they use to get up on it. I'm shooting pics of Dungey, who is all of 5 feet away if that, and then I notice RV is standing on the ramp like right next to me waiting his turn. If that had been Ake Jonsson or Mikkola back in the day I'd have fainted but now they're just.....kids.
albeit very talented ones.
Did the GOAT just say badder?
The GOAT don't need no stinking grammer.
BTW, He looks fit again. I think getting away from that Nascrap and getting back to motos is gooder' for his body.
Also, he nailed his intro/prerace report like a hyped up mini Ralph. Way to step it up. Just what we need another phony, over hyped, mark-ass bitch tv voice
On another note....NBC sucks balls. Great way to show more commercials and fluff than actual racing. What did we get to see maybe fifteen minutes of actual racing?
For dog's sake, they show a full 2 hours of wakeboarding. Wakeboarding? Really?
What's next NBC...2 hours of windsurfing? Or I know, how about 2 hours of skydiving?
