And of course, sturegeione is me. I blame the Canuck edumacation system. Good thing he can draw purty pitchers.

Puddle is IN! But please can you arrange for warm sunny days. Now do I ride the country roads on the R80 G/S or show you a classic 1988 DR750 DR BIG? Another of Gaston's winning rides.

1 Extra Large Long Sleeve please.

I found it last year. I'll probably stop by there on the way down if I'm on the GS. I'll post the coordinates later tonight.

I'm not sure at this point when I can get away, but I could swing by your place and we could ride together on Friday?? Or meet somewhere on the way. If getting away early on Friday I'll be on the G/S if I can't get away till late then the R1150RS with be the steed of choice. If on the RRS then obviously won't be riding on gravel..

OK, so this is starting to look like a BYOB event. Here are some tips for you folks that ain't from around here.

Cruso is dry. That means they are God fearin' folks that don't want any trouble out of a bunch of drunks. You can't buy alcohol in Cruso. We don't mind you drinking it, you just can't buy it.

Waynesville is the closest place to buy adult beverages. If you want hard liquor, you have to go to a state owned liquor store. They are called ABCs. That way the state not only gets the taxes, they make the profit too. Sweet deal for the state.

Beer and wine can be had grocery stores. Convienence stores sell "NASCAR" beer (Bud, Miller Lite, etc.) The best selection of bottled and canned beer can be had at Ingles Supermarkets.

Asheville (about 30 miles) is known as Beer City USA. If you like English type ales (which I do) it really is the best beer city in the States. I almost got in a fight in Portland, OR over beer. That would involve some drinking and riding (any Harley types coming?).

Don't look at this as an inconvienence, look at it as "Adventure Drinking"!

Don't forget that beer is also available at the gas/food mart in Canton. About the same distance as Waynesville. That was where Phil referred me to last time. I think I scored some Fat Tire there.

Coming up from the south, Brevard is a good place to gas up and stock up on beer.

Jim, pretty sure there's no way I can travel down on Thursday..unless I'm underemployed, which is possible but not desirable...

Tried those coordinates but the Garmon doesn't take the nmbers, wrong format or something.

What road am I looking for under the interstate???

thanks guy for the help. I completely missed it last time and would like to find it this time around.
