Would it be because you know you and SpaFxr need to come and join us again ?
I understood your question, but won't speak for Jim at Red Mountain. If you give them a call, you'll know for sure. As someone else mentioned above, some have just showed up and gotten a tent spot.
i think Jim at Red Mountain would appreciate a reservation, but I know that he has acres and acres. I seriously doubt that anyone will be turned away, if you are tenting it. A reservation might give you a better site, as well.
Because your attendance is not optional. Get your iron butt on that bike and go! I hope to see ya there.
Thanks John, that's what I needed to know.
I hope to be there on Thursday but sometimes I get...Hey look, a squirrel!
Without even being able to take an extra day for a long weekend, I think it might be a bit much for me
I'll really have to plan it for next year ...

Mighty Rendezvous Crew!
I have received a handful of PM's and emails, expressing concerns about the fires that are burning in Colorado and if they will affect the 2013 RMAR Events and Rides.
While I cannot say, without a shadow of a doubt, we will not be affected, I can say that we are agile.
Remember back in 2011, when the 2nd Annual RMAR Rendezvous was scheduled for Sipapu, New Mexico and the fire restrictions forced us to move the event, only 24 days prior. Yes, it was a HUGE effort, but we pulled it off and ended up with a phenomenal Rendezvous, with about 150 riders attending, based out of Saguache, Colorado.
But, if there were an area that I would express little concern over, it is Silverton, Colorado in the San Juan Mountains. It is more likely that we will have to deal with afternoon showers and some wetness.....rather than fires, by the 3rd week in July. The monsoon will have kicked into full force.
You should also know that we have great flexibility in the Point to Point Routes, such as the San Juan 500. In the spirit of true adventure riding, we will go where we can and detour when we must. PtP routes are usually finalized within 2 weeks of the ride, adjusting for current conditions.
So what am I saying.....??? I am saying, don't worry, as we have it covered and we will keep you updated.
I just registered MrsTwisty and I. We will be 2-up on a Super Tenere. We can hardly wait. This should be awesome!
You Rush2112 on GOR?
Nope. That's me. And they are riding with me out there.
