Another great Rally by Anders, Amy, et al.... The 30 sec starts rushed the starts, but made for some fun bike to bike racing. Just a very well run event.

Here's a vid from shakedown. Those first few runs back on sand take some getting used to.

Anyone know how Dave is doing? I saw him at Oslo's but didn't get a chance to talk to him.

Great rally, the party scene was excellent this year:clap The old 690 was not running well at all, looks like a trip back to to dyno is in order to get the ignition advance figured out. 82 was the fastest she would go and it took forever to get there:rofl 1:11:21 last year down to1:16 and change this year:rofl On the positive side, it ran the entire time, unlike rally West Virginia a few years ago. Looks like the Mexican 1000 is out this year, so see you all at RWV.

Great show Mike, Bill and Bobby!
Congrats to all, and heal fast to Jenna and Dave!

I've got most of my GoPro video loaded. It's the whole deal. I'll be working on a finished piece in the next few days that hopefully will be more entertaining.

But if anyone wants to see the stages as they were to me...here you go. :1drink A little extra footage of start, etc., too.

I'd like to get y'all copies if you want them. Give me few days to look into doing this. I think opening a SmugMug account might be the easiest way if there's enough interest. Thanks to all those that rode. My son and I had a blast watching y'all go past. :clap.

What a great rally! I had a ton of fun riding and hanging out with the riders and volunteers.

Those pictures are awesome, do you have any of rider 121 on a KTM 530?

Hey: Thanks to Anders, Amy, the volunteers and competitors for another great time at my 5th Sand Blast. It was great to see everyone and meet some new people too.

The young guys are getting faster and I'm getting slower. (No Excuses) :eek1 But I still had a "Blast". Where else can you ride wide open (legally and safely) for miles and miles, but at these events. I do think the competition is getting tougher. Lots of new fast guys.

I have some good stories and insight I'll post later, I gotta wake up from my Rally Racer Dream Weekend and get back to reality. :D

Photomd: If you have pics of #112 Jack O'Connor please post or send.

    Thanks

    Jack

Hey Clockwork - were you the guy with the sweet Sprinter race-rig and a shiny new-looking KTM 350? What happened to cause your DNF? Looks like you were running nicely until then.
