hey, thats nice! But the date change has co-incided with a full house at the Jameson-- have to figure other accomodations. I've pretty much just stayed there for the last six years, and dont know how good any other place is. Any recommendations?

With the schedule change on this (being a month later than last year) it is almost tempting to think I might be up for it. But, for now the plan is to volunteer so I can still join in the fun but no re-injure my knee. Besides will give me a chance to actually make practical use of my Ham radio license.

Perhaps Anders will let me be the combo car driver so I can follow you guys around all day :evil

Stage Hand.... the Jameson is not full. The on-line system isnt working because they haven't set rates for 2013. Call the hotel directly @ 843-537-5625 and reserve the room. They'll tell you you're reserved, but the rate may adjust.

Yeah, I figure it would be the next best thing to actually racing. Just bought a Jeep Cherokee as my "new" daily driver, would be fun in the sand :D

Not sure. I have finished the event...08,09,10.... :evil I may revalve my berg suspension and come down for fun. Have to see what happens with work...there is a chance we may be forced into a mandatory 6 day work week through March :cry.

I may have a more fun job for you if you decide to volunteer. It would allow me to race instead of doing it....Top secret mission:lol3

I'm iffy at best but may go the volunteer route too. Especially if I could get a little riding in to prepare for the Mex1K. Does anyone know if your a V can you hit a few sections a day or so early......or anything that would help me get my mind right for another rally. I know there will be training at night right :freaky

Only guy's who get to really "hit" the sections are the combo and sweep vehicles.

357, I can hook you up with some really sweet training routes that are very similar to SB routes. Best of all they're not far from the SB. :evil

    Hit me up via pm.

That's not a good idea, really. First, lots of the forest sections are gated when there's not racing there. Second, lots of the open sections have 25 mph speed limits on them. Third, a bunch of the other sections require buying a permit. Fourth, nothing is marked to help you find your way around.

So, if you're even thinking about it... enter and race. Prices might never be this low again. :clap

I'm just gonna do a little time at reg and try to get through the day in one piece. That all sounds very mysterious and complicated to me D:

It's an experiment. By lowering the price, do more people show up? If so... then it works and I'll keep the price. If not, the price will change. So really, everyone should call all their friends and let them know what's up. :freaky
