Thats it! Somebody musta slipped me an air shock. Can't wait to see how fast I can go once I find my coil spring shock. :rofl

More seriously...A3 was the best so far this year. Loved it all....except Mercedes didn't seem to be there. I like her better than Diana....not that I'm paying much attention. :D

Just remember...CR22 has a history of doing well in San Diego! Would like to see him get through turn 2 cleanly and compete for the podium. Hes getting faster!

    Hey Merfman,

I loved hearing your story of getting hit by that tree. I was there at the gas stop looking for my water can at that moment. I looked up and saw the tree smack you. Funny that I was there... I did not know that you were hurt though. It seemed like you got back up. I was too busy racing to pay that much attention though.

I have seen a video of it though. I dont remember where. I think you can find it on Youtube.

That was one of the last RMEC rides I did on my Polka Dotted KTM.

    :D

DAVE! Holy crapman! I lay there for about 10 minutes. I was scared to move. It was only after the tingling went away that I started to think it was OK to move. I've never seen, nor heard, of a video, I'd LOVE to see it if you ever run across it! My memory of the event is somewhat lopsided... and vague. ;) Glad to see you're still around! The worst part about the whole thing from my POV was two weeks later I had a head-on with a course worker at Steamboat.

    My predictions for Sandy Eggo:
    450's
    Villo
    Reed (!)
    Canard

    250's
    (remains mostly the same)
    Tomac
    Rocsen
    Savatgy (!)

PS - I'll keep searching but "motorcycle rider hit by tree" came up snake-eyes at YT

Nice to see Dungey get on the box again!

Ya, Villipoto is all over the map...I think he's trying too hard and not letting it flow?

I don't think that lousy track gave anyone with a bad start much of a chance at all. But I am stoked that Milsaps is the one that got the start, even though a couple of guys were faster. Bummer Windham quit, I don't blame him though. Gotta root for the old big guys!

The track sure looked one lined with little chance to pass other than the whoops, I keep thinking Milsaps is going to crash and throw it all away but so far he's riding great. Looking forward to next weeks race and seeing the east coast lites in action.

Yup, great racing all around, again! In the 450's wow... guess I need to get on the Millsaps train, the boy is flat railin'! I keep waiting for him to toss it into the cheap seats but so far, he's been solid!

I'm going to agree that Stewart makes in onto the podium, he looked solid last weekend. Looking forward to getting to bed a little earlier, those late Saturday nights are tough after a few beers.

    Barcia
    Stewart
    Milsaps
    Dungy

    250s

Its rare that we make it through the whole thing live. Gives us something to watch Sunday eve though! Too tired from all the Saturday activities.

    450s
    Dungey
    Stewart
    Milsaps

Interesting that no one is picking Villopongo. He is overdue but I'm guessing he'll be pressing too hard at this point.

    250s
    Wilson
    Musquin
    ME! (LOL!!!)

Exactly why I didn't pick him. He's really good at riding on the 99% line but that extra 1% seems to be his
    achilles heel IMHO.

Yep! And when he has to pass folks like early in a race it seems he has to get it done quickly and rides at the 101% to do it. IF he gets out front its all over...unless lappers come into play later and he is pressed from second..say by BamBam.

Go BamBam!! (I know...he's not in my pics) but I want to see some competition...not boriing laps. Last week was great!

I'd like to see Chad on the podium too. He is getting up there and if he can again make it through turn 2, he might have a chance.

Ya know guys...one thing I REALLY enjoyed last week was watching and listening to KDub. I thought he was GREAT. Added 1st hand track knowledge from his opening ceremonies...plus insight from recently racing as to how it is. Was very interesting hearing him say what he thought about that section of track that sent Davalos flying a few weeks back. He foresaw what was to come and didn't want it to be him!

I agree, KDub was a great addition! His deeper voice was a little hard to pick up a few times when he starting talking, but his insight and knowledge was next to no one. Great job!
