ALTRIDER: please provide detailed and high-resolution images so that we can see the quality of the materials and the construction. Perhaps some video in HD too?

So many companies selling products out there with tiny postage stamp-sized images. Proper marketing is key or else no one will know you have a quality product.

This is not for sale as of yet. Your seeing a pre-released product, usually to gain interest prior to the products actual release.

And don't worry, take a peek at the Altrider site and you will realize these guys know how to market. I'm confident you will get your high res vid/pics.

Without going through pages and pages, do we have a price yet by chance or is everyone still in hype mode

Seriously not trying to drag the details out, but we're very close to answering all questions.

We're so stoked to share this that I couldn't resist!

One more session shooting the whole story - it'll be worth the effort.

So as well as a improvised ice bucket, the Cordura's abrasion resistance protects the dry bag material of the main horse shoe bag in a spill. Nicely thought out evolution of your original design. If the ice bucket part of the system gets torn up after a bad pavement slide or something, will you allow owner's of the system to just purchase that part without the horse shoe bag?:ear

Great question. It'd be a whole lot cooler if the rig was available alacarte-especially after damage from a tumble.

I also just noticed that is the first partial glimpse of a brand new Altrider branded tank bag in that last pic. This thread is like a moto luggage strip tease show.

FWIW.... would a flap over the bottom storage pockets be a good idea? Don't want to find out my tools left the party somewhere back on the trail...

IMO this bag looks like a "better mousetrap".

I need luggage for my 95 Tiger. This design has my interest, as does this one:
    http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=927215

(Yes, I know these are rack bags, but rackless are in the works)

Biding my time until more details are available.

Even though the info here so far hasn't provided much in terms of specifics, at least those of us in the market have been notified that there is one more contender in the ring.
Regardless of where you spend your money, I am just happy to see so many great designs out there.
(It would be great to see a comparison test between all of the major soft rackless bags on a multiday trip. Probably just wishful thinking)

My 2 cents worth is I like the idea of the retro-reflective logos. I don't think they are grossly large on the product. Almost everything else associated with motos has logos plastered over it--why be ashamed of having Altrider on your luggage? I think it would be nice once production gets underway if you could offer the Horse shoe part of the bag in say black, red, bright yellow, and orange.

    Ooohhhhh man this looks good.

On another note being able to purchase the ice bucket part of the bike separately would be nice if you rode two bikes regularly.

I don't find these particularly bad, I'm just that guy that peels the badges off his toyota.

Thanks for responding to my pm...any chance a set of the bags will be ready before this March? I'm ready to buy and/or test the "bitchin" hi-viz ones during the upcoming Death Valley Rally. :rofl

Whoa, nice!! My last Fandango is done, now, I got my money's worth, but time for sumpthin new. GL is promising a Fandango Tank Bag "Pro" for 2014, whatever that is.

Will this new AltRider tank bag fit into the space left when I remove the Glove Box on my 990? I think you remember seeing the GL on my bike when we met up in Sisters a couple years ago....

I really like the idea of slipping the big back bag into a "holder" that's well-strapped to the bike.
