That, to me, is ballet on 2 wheels. This Marquez kid looks like he may have a future racing bikes...
I like Baker's comment on getting Marc out on the half mile here...Honda might have a little hesitation in letting him out there.:eek1
I'm kind of surprised Honda let him do this race. I like this Marquez, he seems like a "hey, let's do it" kind of racer. Rare in todays $$$ world of racing.
An hours worth here :
Onboard with Kenny Noyes

Thanks to Krop for this link to Kenny Noyes's very entertaining "insider" experience at Superprestigio: http://www.cycleworld.com/2014/01/13/superprestigio-dirt-track-racing-experience-by-kenny-noyes/
Posted this morning on the Lloyd Brothers Motorsports Facebook page:
Well stated and I like his ideas for what needs to happen. Whats the first step to getting it done? Is a web streaming package as a good as a TV package these days? I'm guessing its much cheaper.
Flat Track Live just posted this link on Facebook for live streaming of the Troy Bayliss Classic this weekend. FTL will have pics and videos from the event posted on Facebook.
A few years back, 4 or 5 maybe, there was a race in Savannah ga, before they headed to Daytona. Do they still do this or was this kind of a once and done? I don't believe it was worth any points just a cash run. Loads of fun, I believe it was a 1/4 mile track.
Yes, Oglethorpe Speedway in Pooler, Ga. is what you are talking about. I attended last year and had a great time. A lot of the top pros were there. 1/2 mile track. The dates this year are Mar. 7/8. HIGHLY recommended.
Superslowmo from the Superprestigio. Awesome footage.

I want to give Kentucky a plug here, as he deserves it.
I found out about the Next Moto Champion radio show back in November. I think I have listened to every Tuesday evening flat track show since. Currently, the hosts are Cory Texter and Scott Deubler. Starting at the first of the year, Barry Boone gained his own show on Wednesday evenings, called Talking Motorcycles. I highly recommend listing to both programs. You can stream live, or listen later on. I'll let Barry fill in the rest, and keep up the GREAT work you do!!
One question Kentucky, are you still going to be announcing at the flat track races?
Enjoyed the episode with Brad Baker, Chris Carr and Mark Gardiner. Good discussion. Also enjoyed Dave Despain's straight talk about niche vs. mainstream. Thanks Barry.
Thanks so much for the support! I am finding that there are so many interesting people in our sport and topics that it is hard to fit it in to a one hour per week show. Very fun to do and I really do appreciate the support of my ADV friends! Here is a link to the show with the HD Motor Co and Despain. He had some interesting comments. I will be breaking those down this week to give my take on the great ones thoughts about flat track.
And this weeks guests will be George Latus of the Triumph factory flat track team and Shayna Texter's announcement concerning 2014. She has some exciting stuff going on. Expected to announce that she is going expert and her new team.
Praying to any god that will listen that she is on a kawi!!!
bikerfish, you must not have been on the unofficial rumor list the past three or so months. Reread Barry's post again, and read between the lines. Or, just tune into the show on Wednesday.
