    WooHoo!
Nice work, guys! This is gonna be a great week. Or ten days. Whatever.

I'm hoping to end it at Painted Rocks where I'll meet Kristen so I can spend a couple of days relaxing in the shade and catching up on rest from all my relaxing riding.

Would an 'old man on a little bike' qualify?

Hmm...I've never seen so many smiles as at the end of a long day, when everyone pulls into your camping destination after a long, dust, rough ADV ride.:nod

What do you guys call an old man? You aren't old as long as you can ride.

Maybe you should call it guys who enjoy the ride rather than think it is a race.

I've got no problem with the term "old man" --- as long as it is referenced with love, reverence, and awe.

Hey, you get to my age you could care less how folks view you....only concern is if you can stop quickly enough to relieve yourself; in time.....:lol3

This sounds like a great group to ride with!

I got a NR Adventure Dry bag a couple of weeks ago. Looks like a great bag; everything needed to strap to bike, heavy duty and should be water / dust proof.

    Wow!

I'll try to catch up at least when you are in my area (Polaris, Bannack, Lemhi Pass). I don't know how you could improve this part of the route!

Got my NR survivor dry saddle bags yesterday and really siked on them. :D

Plenty big and very visible... If only my bike wasn't in 3 feet of snow, dying to start tinkering

Agreed, thanks so much guys for all the planning, routing, maps, ect! I asked for 2 weeks off so 10 days is great, 14 even better:ricky
Chris, totally on board with doing the same and having the gf and dog meet and camp at painted rocks. Maybe we can small group it back that way since were both Florence folk anyway. Wrap up the 1000 with a bang! :beer:kumbaya

I checked on the first campground and since it is Glacier NP and it will be in peak season....[http://www.campsitephotos.com/campground/Fish-Creek]. ..does anyone make a group reservation or do we do that on our own?

I doubt if remote locations are an issue and Fish Creek does take reservations...

Sat at the start; where in Troy and at what time should we meet?

Sorry if I missed this information in previous posts.

    Thanks..Phil

Phil, Good questions. We will be updating the blog with links to some of the locations such as campgrounds. There are over 90 tentable campsites at Fish Creek, it looks like $23 per site (8 people). It is one campsite that would be best to follow-up with some questions as the days go by. I doubt we will have congestion at any of the other campgrounds as they are either remote or we arrive during the work week, plus they are surrounded by primitive camping possibilities.

I've updated some info already and we will do more as time allows and as details roll out (including any changes etc.) This includes start location information (Yaak River Campground near the Yaak Road on US 12 - 9:00 am. There are two campgrounds at that location. One on each side of the Yaak River, but both are on the Kootenai River.
