That's the idea. You got a new bike just for this event?
I just tried to book an rv site and they are already booked. Since I am a noob for this event ( not a noob rider), I assume they are sold out or you guys are taking the reservations because you have the place blocked out? Please advise. Thanks!
All campsites, including motel and RV sites are reserved by Joel. Please follow here for more info.
Thanks. I am in for an rv site with or without hook ups for those dates. I'll follow this thread as it develops.
Oh yes I am in.
I manage to look like I'm not really a noob by hauling a street bike to Panamint Spgs then staying as far away from sand as I can get. Can't wait.
Justin ...... IN
desert will be tore up
roads will be tore up
plan on spending a little extra time to get there
might be faster to come in from the west off of 395 near Olancha
Ok, IN From VEGAS!
I need an RV site for my toy hauler...
You and me both. This time, I shall endeavor not to break any bones mere weeks before the event.
Hopefully coming down in the toy hauler.
Better yet, dont break any during the event! We had a rough one last year!
Just clarifying that I am IN for 2014 and will need a spot for my 38 foot toy box trailer. Hook ups or not doesn't matter as long as I can park the damn thing. Lol
The cast should be off in 12 weeks or LESS and the SE will be lonely!
thanks to all who have shown interest
i do not have internet access during work hours, including lunchtime. i will try to answer questions if i can. post up if you have any, and the veterans of this event can surely help.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME A PM, i still have lots of unread PMs. you might end up waiting for a long time and get dissappointed.
always check page 1 for information and updates.
we will take campground reservations once we figure out the cost. it will be slightly higher than last year, but not much. we will also have catered food (dinner) on friday, saturday and sunday.
it is also the objective of this event to raise $$$ for BLUE RIBBON COALITION, CORVA AND STEWARDS OF THE SEQUOIAS.
all the hotel rooms are already spoken for...sorry.
there was a question regarding what kind of riding conditions are out there.
mild to wild. death valley is huge. you will find a variety of terrain that will suit your riding skill. also be prepared by bringing drinking water, likewise, your fuel range is your #1 limitation. if you have a 100 mile range, you will still enjoy, but won't get very far.
if you have 170 to 200 mile range you're good. less than that, bring extra.
we will try to get trucks with fuel, refreshement, etc. at the hot springs and race track. will confirm as the date comes closer.
lastly, you must have a license plate on your bike
worlds worst mechanic
In plus 2.....I'll take first in line for a motel room if someone can't make it.
I am in also.
I need a spot for a 22' trailer. Hookups preferred, but not required.
I'll take spot 51 again if it is available. It's getting to be like home.
