MY buddy and I made the loop; Pipe Spring, Kanab, Zion and stopped at the resort for a tour. It sure has a nice pool. I will be there for the rally. I usually wear a XL tee shirt.:1drink

    Damn this looks like fun!!!

I am very much interested, but if I come, it will be with my SO and we will be riding 2 up on a GS. Would we be out of place at this event?

2 UP is no problem at this event. I have been 2 UP for 2 of the past 2 years. 90% of the dirt roads are easy 2 UP, if you have some experience in the dirt. There are also hundreds of miles of scenic pavement routes.

Just wondering which bike to bring. Vstrom or my 650L? Thanks for putting this together.

The 650L will be easier and more fun in the dirt, however we always have a large group of BIG bikes travel just about everywhere that the dual sports go. There are long stretches of highway on many of the rides that are more comfy on the Vstrom. That probably doesn't help you make a decision, but its my two cents. I will be on a GS.

Does one need a National Park pass or anything like that? I have a OHV tag on my Dual Sport.

Yes, or you'll end up paying a lot of park fees to see Zion and Bryce.

I agree. It's $25 per park and the annual pass for all the parks is $80 (I think). I get an annual pass and it pays for itself quickly.

I have to cancel. I just cancelled my tent reservation, so there should be a space available in case anyone needs one.
