Might translate well to the crf250l frame

I bet the Ninja still kicks it's butt. Honda loves to be second place in everything.

yes would be nice to these 250 dual-sports bump to 300cc in the same package. apply some other weight reduction techniques and you've got a winner.

This is the hottest gossip today, I've read 5 posts on 4 or 5 forums about it. :D

I'll say the same thing here that I've said everywhere else....how many cylinders will it have? If it's tuned for economy like the 500's and the 700's, blah. If it's a screamer it could be cool. More competition in the small cc class can't be a bad thing and could mean great things for all of us that appreciate these "small" bikes.

Expect an economy bike that makes about 3hp more than the 250 but engineered to last 200 years or 1,000,000 miles.

    I think it's a single. The CBR125R, 250R, are both singles...

I hope we get to see more infos soon. Especially in which countries it will be available. The CBR 250R was replaced with the 500ccm models last year in Germany, and I fear we won't get the 300R here too. :cry

The 250 has turned out to be brilliant for me. Just immediately, I prefer the sissy look of the 250s vfr styling, kind of short lived on that. I like the front blinkers on the 250, they have running lights as does the front light.

    >>Engine details aren’t out yet but it is being said that the bike would sport a larger version of the CBR250R’s single cylinder, fuel injected engine. Honda has put in a lot of time and efforts in developing this 300cc engine and our guess is that the motor would have 35PS of max power, with 29Nm of peak torque

The new 2014 Honda CBR300R boasts of a diamond frame with struss structure and is likely to also sport a new swingarm. The Honda CBR300R will be available with C-ABS.

I think the chassis looks the same as the CBR250R. At least in pictures.

Wonder if I could put these new plastics on my 2011 cbr250......

Mine are damaged from a low side a while back. And I think these look way better the current 250 style.
