I stopped by Ness in Dublin, Ca yesterday and sales guy told me they have sold 4 Indians to four guys on their waiting list. More coming.
I am going for a demo ride Oct 11 or 12, Really looking forward to the demo ride.
The Indian dealer in Phoenix, AZ just got their first bike in on Thursday so I had to go check it out.
And yes we get "demo days" starting November 15! Can't wait.
Engelharts Power Center in Madison WI has two demo Indians. I saw both of them yesterday at The Slimey Crud Run.
the salesman had them out for a spin
they looks great
I was their, too. They looked really nice.
I can't wait to see them in person myself.
Their ads on CL piss me off to no end though.

But guys, a indian with out a foot clutch and hand shift, is it really a Indian or? Is there any indian model with out foot clutch and hand shift?
`49up Arrow and Scout and Warrior
And if you REALLY need to be that guy, you can add a foot clutch/hand shift to the bike. It takes about equal level of skill as fitting hard bags to a bike.
I can understand nostalgia up to a point, but wishing for foot clutch/hand shift makes about as much sense to me as wishing for polio to come back...
And left hand throttle and right hand spark advance!!!
If you're gonna be authentic, be authentic!
Agree with you! If you are going to do something, do it properly!
Shifter, clutch and brake locations have been federally mandated since 1975. They can't sell it any other way. Purist or not, joking or not.
still fun to watch the "purists" though
