Missed the group buy, but if anyone requests a refund for something that might fit my 6'¹1" & 235lb frame, PM me and I'll make you whole.

Thank You Jeff. I've told a few members over the phone, if it wasn't about the passion of riding motorcycles, no chance I'd be doing it. Luckily, the supplier issues may be taken care of...

    Stay tuned.....

I sure hope so... a supplier gaffe such as this could really hurt a small business. As someone who works for a supplier of steel and aluminum custom cut and fabricated parts, I know how important it is to be on time, or to have a reasonable and accurate estimate as to when the parts will be available. That way, you get to keep the customer, who gets to keep his or her customers, and so on.

When I do get my juggernaut, I think I'm going to grab my calipers and my CAD software. I run a cnc plate laser for a living. Can you say *metal* juggernaut? :evil

    Killing me slowly!

    TEX and everyone else..

I'm battling the Air Cargo issues currently. Shipment was supposed to move into Seattle on 3-12, then 3-14. Checking the airwaybill, the date has changed again to the 15th. I've been on the phone for the past 2 days trying to figure out WTF is going on! I was told it hadn't moved due to overbooking but today I was told it hasn't even made it to United Airlines yet...

FFS!! I won't tell you how I really feel and TRUST ME, I'm much more heated about this entire scenario, than anyone else!!!

TEX and anyone else, I understand you need the product for upcoming events. I have no problem offering a refund so you can have something for your event. Just let me know..

I'm doing everything I can and will update when I know more!

Nah, no worries. I'll enjoy it when I get it but not having it doesn't stop me from riding. I appreciate the constant updates, I couldn't imagine a tenth of this communication from any other retailer. Oh, and I'll drink a beer for you at the rally :lol3

Called last night, about 10PM. Was supposed to get a call last night. I didn't! Called this morning, was told I'd get a call back. I didn't! Called again at 5:00 pm and was told I'd get a call back in 2 hours. I got the call back but, nothing to update. Dubai is not responding. They're calling back in another 2 hours to see if the next stop has seen the shipment. As of right now, it appears to be MIA!

I asked if it's possible to generate a Airwaybill without the cargo, worrying that I'm somehow getting scammed. I was told no.. So, I can assume it's just a shipping fubar! It's the first Air Cargo issue I've had, so that's 1 out of 75 ish..

Did I mention, my truck smoked it's throwout bearing today? I use my truck to pick-up my shipments and daily shipping! Sweet!!!

    :baldy?

    So, that's:

    ~Get current shipments out asap!
    ~Drop tranny and replace bearing/clutch
    ~Replace head on crf450
    ~Replace tires on the 85
~Replace all plastic and water pump on sx50 senior

That's the short list before opening day at the track! 3-27...

Our shipment has been located and should be in Seattle on Tue 3-18.. Hopefully, it makes the trip the next day. Either way I should be able to start shipping towards the end of next week, Thursday/Friday..

As always, my refund offer still stands for anyone who is waiting for their order. Thank You all for your understanding..

My past shipments have used British Airways for Air Cargo, this was United Airlines. Anyone know if UA is a subpar air cargo option? I've never had such an issue with BA..

So... you are saying our armor could come pre-tested? Sweet. I don't think anybody at United can hurt it as much as putting it on and getting clotheslined off my DR650...

    I appreciate the update. Thank-you.

I've done (air) shipping with Delta Air Cargo between California and Hawaii and found their prices fair and their service great. Never a lick of trouble.

So... it's the afternoon of the 20th. No info in my email or on this thread about shipping? Did our flight of armor end up right next to the Kuala Lumpur aircraft? :lol3
