Well, to be fair, I should have just stopped watching the video after the person stated these bikes can go anywhere. 17" tyre is made for the tarmac. 19" a balance between road and dirt....

    In 2014 matters.
I hope we get some good news tomorrow.:ear

It will be the 10th in about 2.5 hours. (Eastern Time Zone here in North America.)

they picked the ducati in that review, all road riding so probably makes sense, I have no hard feelings that they didn't pick the bike I ride , I guess some do. and definitely not gonna and go out and by a ducati because of that review. :rofl Not sure how anyone can pick a bike from a test or peoples blogs or reviews, I have to ride them first. Then see what people are saying long term about them etc...I know people who buy without riding, thats not for me. Oh and by the way tremor I did not post the video review on this thread in the first place, not sure who did just thought it was strange how people reacted to it, my point was its just a person's opinion and theres a ton of those out there. Ride what you like if thats ok. Wreckchecker my buddy has a tenere(non flashed) that I have ridden a bunch, liked it just not as much as the bmw so I guess I'm lucky so far no recalls or problems the last two years now this fuel pump thing which I may or may not be in on so if I have to take it in I'll be even with my brother inlaw, he had one as well on his super ten. Yes back to 2014 news on the Ten, not sure why they didn't have one at the New York cycle show.

Thats great news for our riding brothers and sisters up north. Hopefully we'll see the same very soon.

Definitely some interesting changes. I hope we get the same colors...maybe with white as well.

Good to see Canada will get the 2014. And two models!
    Congratulations!

Maybe we can get some of that Adv Touring Vortex action down south... like, today!

Finally.....some info on the 2014. Can anyone translate what these prices mean for US prices....sounds like the Tenere ES is only $1,000 more and if so well worth it. The big decision will be to pick up a great deal on a discounted 2013 or get the new ES. All this assuming it comes to the USA which is becoming more probable with these Canadian announcement I hope. Hopefully, the ES will be good enough to negate the need for an aftermarket rear shock for a planned 2up/heavily loaded trip to S. America!

I was really hoping the same thing. I can't understand why Yamaha is so resistant on bringing the 660 to the U.S. and Canada. They sell it just about everywhere else in the world including Mexico. I'd love to have one. :waysad

    Thanks for the link.
I guess if the 2014 S10 is going to be shipped over to Canada, then I guess the USA should be good to go.
That is unless Canada did a good job with the 2012 and 2013 inventory. :ear
Then I guess we are done for. :cry It's been two hours past the close of business hours here on the east coast.

The play call I would select would be purchasing a brand new 2012 with a full warrenty. As most know, most dealerships have them $2,500 less than MSRP. You could further work on this number.
There are not enough physical changes to the bike to make me wait even longer for the 14 in the Spring.
I'd be tickled with the 14 being here because parts would be easier to find, and labor would have more wrench time on the bike. Basically, a warm fuzzy from Yamaha.

It was posted on the ST site that the suspension travel for the ES model is listed at a couple of inches less than the Standard.

I think it is a typo. Can't be 2" less. No way. Typo. Gotta be.

The Canadian Yammy site has both models at 7.5".

Then they fixed it. I knew it had to be a mistake.

Yea, I felt it was a typo from the start. Didn't add up. Sure it will get corrected.
