WooHoo! We is racin again!
Are they doing the test the week before, also?
The official test is on the Monday and Tuesday before race weekend.
The 'Girl' flies in on the Friday before from Bavaria, for three weeks...oh well, there goes the first week...and a bit..... But hey, quality time, waving flags together. For 6 days!
Is OK, the Island is quite a magical place, plenty to see and do.
And look at.And listen to.
This, I'm pretty sure, would qualify for the main event.... Just plain bloody awesome! Pix from last weekend. And this is just the 2 valver.....
Full story, reasonably accurate.
Oh shit! I forgot! The capacity is a 'little' over....
Thanks for the link to that article. I got a nice surprise that they had used two of my pics!
Hopefully, "the girl" lets you post some photos and updates for your "friends" on the net.
Does anyone know if it's going to be shown on BeIN Sport again in the US?
a few posts before yours..
Good point! I'm sure it will be a 'busy' first week.....
Thanks. I totally missed that.
I really really really hope these guys, both of them, can take it to the Apes and Kwaks. Really.
The Suzukis look GOOD. I hope both Laverty & Lowes do well.
+1 and +1
Edit: Just noticed Laverty's helmet. I thought he raced under the Irish flag ?
2nd day at Jerez

Over the last couple of seasons it's been black, with a big green stripe, and Tom with the big orange stripe.
Here they are, comparing helmets, so to speak.......
Both good genuine lads.

the word is that you maybe have live feed via the internet soon ,is the true ?
^^ As mentioned above, the video pass is now available on the SBK site: http://www.worldsbk.com/en/subscribe
69.90 Euro or approx $97 at today's exchange rate for 'mericans. Had my fingers crossed that Dorna would offer a discount for existing MotoGP subscribers (proven adopters) but that worked out like most things I wish for.
One nice feature is an archive of WSBK races back to 1993. Thats a huge collection of really awesome road racing. For noobs, I'll recommend the Edwards/Bayliss battle at Imola in 2002/ Race 2. Both races at Hockenheim in 2000 and just about any WSBK race at Monza or Assen or Brands Hatch. Don't stop there, the list of fantastic WSBK races is too long to list.
Edit: Just read from someone who bought the package that the archive consists of race reviews (or highlights) for now. Hopefully they will ad the full races soon.
Too much for me. I'm paid up for 2014 MotoGP, can't do nearly the same amount again for WSBK.
(I'll probably cave and pay up when Phillip Island comes around. )
Soon as someone here can assure me that the download speed of Canadian cable companies (Cogeco in particular) will keep up and won't cause any viewing issues, I'm in. We pay $50 for a single WWE bs event. Paying a C note or so for a complete WSBK season sounds like an absolute bargain to me.
I just bought the video pass for the year and cost 24.90 euro's
No need for that, it will live on Eurosport
Just one more week
