I know someone that uses a Bell Super 2R mountain bike helmet. I gave that some thought but decided against it. While in Italy, I discovered that a Hebo helmet fits my head just like my Arai XD4. So, I bought a Zone 5. Love it.

The Island Lake trials are next weekend. Look around the riders there and try on a few brands. What size is your current Scorpion? We will be there this Saturday (tomorrow) continuing with the section ribboning.

If the full face fits your head all right I wouldnt think the mouthgaurd would not be in visions way it just doesnt look like trials. My son wears his full face all the time including events. He says he likes the extra protection maybe he just wants to look different or not have to spend money on a trials helmet.

This is turning into a blog, What a time getting that swing arm off. I need glasses and to stubborn to go get cheaters but I finally figured it out. Was good tho, exhaust can had to come off to get the brake stuff off so the swing arm would come out. The top of the resevware was loose and about leaked all the break juice out. So a PLUS finding that. There is NO WAY to see it or get to it with out the can off.

Done for today, Looks like I need brake shoes, Seems to have grease in the bearings but there going to get more with the Dogs and back together. I do love this stuff, seeing how it all works. When I took the back tire off I was amazed how light the thing is. Well here is a pic for you.

9-10 sections, very cool riding. Lots of tree's to hop here. Oil change next and I'll use some Honda HP I have to use it up. Seems to smoke more than I think it should on 70/1 mix. How often do crank seals go out ?

I will post my photos sometimes today. I think I caught you in action. The day did turn out real nice although we did wipe off FROST when setting up the coffee table in the morning.
If you have any comments about the course - please pass them on to me via PM and I will pass them on. Setup for Kennedy Creek Quarry event starts next week. There you will see ROCKS (It is a rock quarry), hills again and maybe a stream or two.
Thanks for saying hello - sorry I was so busy.

Never noticed this, no Gap. Took it all off, seems the skid plate bent to hell. And header was full of oil. Had twice the oil than in the picture ? Piston looks OK, no much carbon in the exhaust port.

So I'm not sure what to do with this mess. Took the grinder to the plate on the contact point. Still no good, header doesn't set flush in cylinder.

Looks to me like the header just got bent back into the skid plate.

The oil is no big deal. Trials bikes spend a lot of time at idle and if you (or whoever had it before) was running an oil with a high flash point, you'll get a lot of it out the exhaust.
