First time out on a lake. Does it count if I am not running studs?

Many states require you to be registered and insured just like a boat or snowmobile must be but actual enforcement seems fairly rare.

    First casualty of the season.
In a disagreement between studs and aluminum, studs win.

Imagine what those studs would do to human flesh.... Sorry, but had to take care of a few chain saw accidents when I was in Vermont. Want to see some pictures? :-)

p.s., my mechanic in Plainfield used to do ice racing, but his bikes all had protection cages on the wheels.

    I've seen what they'll do.
We keep a little distance between us and try to keep in mind we aren't racing for real.

Yeah, and you should see the other guy.

No, it's just a piece of duct tape. I forgot to space the exhaust out this year, and didn't notice that anything was wrong until the bike got loud. The silencer provided essential no resistance to the tire so the battle was over before there was any warning.

I've heard that there no chance that you will lately. Am I going to see you on ice or dirt in 2018?

    The rumors are false :D
It was a light year for me but I still managed about 6k miles.
No ice for me. Sold my tires after realizing I just don’t have time during the busy season for work. I do need to get the 350 out more though.

According to the marine police, you need to have a life preserver with you if you are on a lake in NJ.:deal:eek7:eek7
