Agree, same thing happened with me. Very nice people at both ends, between her and Paul at Tortugas in Flagler Bch it's the most accommodating bunch we've dealt with on Trans-Fla's to date. I hope they'll let us come back : )

Oh, one more thing I took away from this weekend. I'm at the point where I think I need a smaller big bike. And no, I'm not getting a 701, even though all the cool kids are riding them. It's already to the point where those guys are walking around trying to figure out which one is theirs. :lol3

Big thanks to Nancy too (Cynthia's friend) for making the trophies, don't know how she did it but they were impressive. :thumb

Danny, you can buy 3 of the little 500's like mine for the price of a 701.

BIG thanks to waybill for giving me the opportunity to ride after I spent a half hour pitching a fit in the living room - and to everyone who were so quick to lend some gear. Can’t wait til the next one!

Great weekend, with great weather ( at least in a hotel room):D

So some folks really know how to start off a rally

They claim to have the flat sorted out and were ready to go

The Beach was perfect as we left across the marsh
    [IMG]

Some folks enjoying the morning ride

Here is one of the points pictures

Coffee break along a nice dirt road

The dreaded mud hole, I swear this looked bigger in person :lol3

The view on the top of Sugerloaf mountain

Ok maybe that is not Orlando over there. But it did seem a bit similar on the route :beer

Then headed back east to the finish, just a great time. Thanks to everyone for coming to join us in some fun.

Big thanks to Cynthia, Nancy for trophies. Bill for routes, Mike for roll charts (er, Jewel for the roll charts) Brad on the west coast and his crew. Dave Rogers for sorting out after the storm. Nick and other for scouting.

Word on the street is folks are trying to raise some money to help Tipsy pay for an oil change next time :photog

Big thanks again to Bill for being our Sag wagon.
    Cheers :clap

I was a victim of the mud hole as well. The right side turned out to be the wrong side. IMG_2465.JPG Photo cred @Importance

Hey bud... too bad about the Zed...

Happy to help out a brother in need. Sorry, I forgot to carry a spare Zed motor in my pack. That fooker is already too heavy as is. :eekers

There's lots of time and planning that goes into putting these events together.

Most ride organizers do it for a fee.

The CADS group does it for the love of it. :ricky

Thanks for another well organized "FEE FREE" event! :clap

    A few pics...

A couple of Wankers showed up for the Saturday portion of the ride...

Nice view at the starting point along the route...

    Random route pics...

Found this bum at a gas station... imagine that... a poor, broke, African in Klim pants begging for spare change... WTF! :scratch

Got buzzed by the fuzz after I took this pic going about 5mph blocking traffic. I didn't know there was anyone behind me. I figured the d00d would pull me over and give me a hard time. Luck would have it that he zoomed on by. WIN!

I've ridden at Richloam plenty of times and I can't recall ever seeing this store...

    Gratuitous BRP pic...

Some of the hooligans I was riding with...

A few miles after I took the above pics, Tipsy managed to ride out a catastrophic engine failure on his DRZ. I was right behind him when it happened. FFS, glad you rode that out without incident. :clap

    The skid...

    The result...

    Calling the ADV rescue trailer...

    And taking it in stride...

Sux d00d but it could have been much worse. Glad you're OK to laugh about it. :deal

Some chucklehead got 2nd place in the "B" class. There should be a recount... he shouldn't have even placed. :lol3

Tipsy received the hard luck award.

    Well...

Appears the MP's needed to check out the ruckus down at the West gate. :D

Yep... a few of our crew left the area when the d00d in the truck was yakking away on the CB.

Meanwhile, me an Brendan watered the nearby shrubs. :D

Seemed like a bad choice at the time. I watered the bushes down the road.

In my line of work I have to hold it for hours. I almost wet myself when I saw the bear about 10 minutes later though.
