I'd rather be lucky than good.
Don't know what diameter you need, but I have a couple of shim boxes laying around. If you can get the diameter and thickness Ill see if I have what you need
Thanks very much but I've decided to move on from this bike. It's 100% disassembled and I have a part out thread in the Flea Market (click).
Flea Market rules prohibit writing "if you don't see it, ask" in the part-out thread but the entire bike is apart and all is available. I probably should have just sold it whole but I like working in the garage :)
I travel for a living - which makes this more of a pain in the ass - but I'm around through the weekend if anyone is in need of DRZ parts.
I also have that whole DRZ engine I bought and subsequently stripped one cam cap bolt. I'll probably part that out as well but if anyone local wants it whole...
Going out on limb here...if this is completely forbidden just tell me to pack sand...
Would someone give me the route for this Trans Florida Trip? Just getting into this and want to make a dry run before me and my riding buddy make asses of ourselves at the next rally.
Thanks but I think we'd rather keep 'em for those that are able to make the events.
Try to show up for the Polar Bear rally in January, there'll be something for all levels.
On your bike you'll be fine (inside joke, sorry couldn't resist) : )
Totally get it. I appreciate the quick response. Will definitely try to make the Polar Bear.
Y'all need to camp at The Swamp New Years Day for the Polar Plunge...
I finally finished part 1 of my video from the 2017.5 Trans-Florida ride, shot motovlog style. It's my first real video edit and I think I like how it turned out.
I pared down about 3 hours of footage from Day 1 and ended up with about 36 minutes. It's a bit longer than intended but I think I captured some of the good essence of the ride, at least from this newbie's perspective.
Please check it out and leave a comment here or on the youtube page. I'm open to constructive feedback.
Good Job on the vid
