Great news about Bonsey and 'slick.
Maybe overseas, but not here in the states. There is basically zero $$ invested in the AFT paddock from companies outside the US that aren't motorcycle manufacturers.
Yeah , and Marquez and Baker weren't the only guys racing out there , those guys were getting after it !
In a just universe , names like Leonard , Resweber , Lawill , Nixon , Parker , Carr , Mees and even Texter would as famous as Andretti or Earnhardt . Not sure the average Murican knows who Marquez is. Although several Brits know the name Chris Carr .
He may be asking why Sammy wasn't there. He was in Europe just a little while ago. I think it's a valid question. He would have been a very interesting alternate when Mees backed out for medical reasons.
I'm sure it was funding. I doubt if Sammy had anyone to pay those kind of bills. Sammy has had enough off track problems that a lot of the folks that sponsored him have gone. Yes he's a gifted rider and would have done well, but too many issues. King Henry would have been my obvious pick, but getting funding for such a thing is tough.
And maybe leave some thank you cash.

Trust me when I say this, Kawasaki is not done with Flat Track. Lets just say the key players within the company weren't really aware of what Ricky and the boys were doing. Remember the Gen 2 Howerton Rocketship? That design will see the light of day again
The layout for the Daytona TT
From Zanotti Racing today..........
that rear brake looks super vulnerable like that, i know they literally can't smash that on a flat track.
i bet it has something to do with squat under braking, and ease of tire removal.
Great to hear, that is one awesome machine, hope it falls into the right hands!!!
The only hands that bike will ever be touched by is Ricky's
Team Harley will be Coolbeth, Johnson and Robinson. Teaming up with Vance & Hines. a lot of big news coming............
So Ive been curious about the type and amount of unobtanium making up Marc's 450 Honda.....traction control....the whole engine is also special and he has choices of engines as the night goes along? Frame is a one off or ? I wonder what his bike weighed in at or do they even weigh em? Tony Elias was flying I wonder how trick his bike is? Its odd to see all this technology on a shorttrack. Brad's bike was mainly just drifting around the track in the main, sliding too much coming in/in the middle/coming out of corners. Wrong tires after all day to work on settup, shame
Brad used up the brake trying to compensate for the rear tire. I'm a little befuddled that Brad chose to run a hard compound tire knowing the track was dry slick.
I guess you couldn't get close to MM's bike in the paddock, and the engine swap was behind a curtain. The bike that you could get close to didn't look any different than a top GNC1 ride.
Have a look here. Morgan Monroe walking out of the hospital this morning.
Good to see her heading home and out of the hospital for the holidays.
Seemed like Brad threw Harley under the bus in the interview. I know he was frustrated by the equipment breaking, but it's a little known fact he's not exactly easy on equipment. Never burn a bridge you may need to cross again one day
I think it was the lack of effort to fix what was breaking that was eating at Brad. The factory team had already decided to go with the new engine in all of the factory bikes by this time and they were just using up what parts they had for the XR. They had already tossed it in for the season before Brad was ready to. I noticed Davis Fisher didn't have much nice to say about the motor company either. That right there speaks loads !
It's no secret at all how hard Brad is on equipment. When did you see any of the XR's that Dave Atherton prepped for him in 2013 break? That was a two bike program run out of a 14' enclosed trailer behind Dave's Sequoia.
