what's the difference between the exhaust having a plug fall out vs a mechanical problem. She lost her results from the heat race, just like she would have if the chain came off or some other mechanical issue arose . She then had to start from the back of the pack in the LCQ, just like anyone else that had a mechanical problem.
You guys need to start posting in CS&M if you want to worry about conspiracy theories.

Good grief guys , it was a noise violation , she didn't shoot someone . The problem seems to be in the minds of some here who feel she is being treated differently than the Stollings kid . My inside source tells me that the situations are a bit different . Think about this , if Stollings had DQ'ed from a heat or semi and been allowed to race in the LCQ , would that be enough to make you happy ? Guessing if Shayna's DQ had happened in the main the same penalty would have been applied. Sorry , I like Random , but he is over reacting , as are some of the others here .

Discretion means its refs choice,he made his choice. Is there a particular reason she should have been DQ'd rather then penalized?

If you turn the AFT rules PDF upside down and hold it under an ultraviolet light, you can read the part about all members of the France family having access to remote self destruct mechanisms implanted in all competitors engines. Of course, I'm not surprised by this.

And maybe they use those devices to alter the fortunes of Harley and Polaris to affect the stock prices so they can sell high and buy low. It would be a slower process, but would certainly work out long term. The NBCSN contract could be part of plan to expose more people to AFT than the crazy cadre of T shirted, gritty toothed wannabees who were paying the admissions to keep 8 or 10 races going. You know, the motorcycling wannabees that dream of being able to pitch a 90 mph fire breather into the corner of an obscure horse track in the hot and dusty midwest and exit the corners with their feet up and in a tuck while still slightly crossed up. COOL.

How's that for a reach? Maybe that is what birthed NASCAR from a bunch of "good ol boy" backyard mechanics like Smokey Yunick having fun on beach tracks (like Class "C" used to be) to jet setting owners assembling purchased frames and boxed up engines without ever having lifted a tool and racing on tracks so big you can't tell cars apart on the back stretch.

You can make a difference. Support your local dirt tracks (car or bike) and cheer for the folks who build them in their garages. Those folks are too honest to form conspiracies. Besides, they are having too much fun dreaming of winning a Saturday night feature race.

(Just another crazy old guy with his zipper down and food on his shirt longing for simpler times and women without tattoos and piercings)

It seems to be heading that way,how long until people are yelling at others to get off their lawn? Or having to miss watching a race due to a special presentation of Wheel Of Fortune or Jeopardy?

Dude let it go,its over. Not that big a deal. Bad Boy or cheater does not = having a plug come loose in a muffler. Its not like Nixon running BSA rods in his Triumph or Aldana mixing nitro in his gas.

Yes you are correct , that doesn't change the fact that some here are waaaayyy over reacting . Good grief , some of you guys probably believe the Peoria TT is rigged because it is dominated by one rider , or there are more mile tracks now so that Mees or Smith can win more . Will you be happy if HD or Indian is banned from building engines , or Shayna has to race a 250 against the boys ?

A friend of mine who raced during that era says everyone was looking for an advantage . Not dirt track , but that "500 CC" Triumph roadracer that Nixon won Daytona on was probably closer to 575 CC's , and don't get me started on the
BSA that Dick Mann won with , who knows what that thing displaced :lol3

Don't get too excited about BSA displacement, the unit twins usually worked better at a stock 654cc than any other displacement.......When larger they either wouldn't hook up or got slower......

Oh Yeah,Ive heard stories of pushing the rules at Ascot. It was violently competitive and if you didnt do it the next guy would. Tricks with tires, fuel, the smallest edge could make a mental if not a physical benefit.
