How's the fog lights shine in the dark(spot or flood light) ? Do they require an extra switch to be mounted on the handle bar?

It's not the top case, it has a 15" rear wheel.

I can't read them but I can imagine what the screen titles say. Honda should offer the SPOT locator as an accessory. That and a bucket of common sense.

Assume because it is located by other bigger countries that it also ships/sells to.

If they open it up to the US market, it's more additional cost to add another model to their line up, including parts dealers have to stock, service, warranty etc.

I still don't understand why a model might go to Canada and/or Mexico, but not US. I guess it's for those same reasons, if they don't think the investment will be profitable.

Mexico is a very different market. Most people will buy a small motorcycle and use it as primary transportation. Some of the models available in Europe make it to Mexico but not all.

I think we have a chance to see the bike here in the US. It's just coming out in Europe right now and if you remember, Europe got the Africa Twin before we did. I think Honda may bring the X-ADV but it probably will be for 2018.

How much pollution testing etc does it take for Honda to get the ADV certified for the USA?

Do they have to hang ugly turn signals on the motorcycle?

Personally I think the motor is too big. A 395 cc version would make it fit into our cheaper insurance category.

I would like to think that Honda is going to upgrade its NC to the 750 sooner than later. I'm pretty sure we're the last country using the 700 instead of the 750. Once that's done, the X-ADV should show its face as well.
