Looking forward to seeing everyone! If any of you want nice secluded camping in the Bloomington area for the weekend PM me and let me know. I will have a portolet set up. Have a great ride!
Tracks look fun RoadDad.
Looking forward to the ride.
Update 10/10/17 Susie at Twin Lakes called to let me know that the renter of cabin #! had cancelled. If your interested give Susie a call.
Cabin #1 has been rented.
Well I took some of the route today from Morgantown to Brownstown an other than the rain it was a great trek.
Drove to Taylorsville again today. We now have permission to park our cars, trucks, vans, trailers etc just west of the Waffle House starting point. The lot is owned by Hoosier Air Transport. We can park on the rock/grass area north of the truck lot entrance. Head to the north end of the lot but on the outside of the fence. Only a short walk to Waffle House. My white Ford Transit will be there late Friday afternoon.
Is there any other lodging near Derby for Saturday night?
Some friends from the Detroit area would like to join in but are looking to pack lite for this one.
Hey Steve have them check out these Cabins.
I have no affiliation but know that they are really nice and have a great view. Close to Derby.
Thanks Chris, will do!
Props on the stretch northeast of Brownstown along the river.
Good place to see several thousand sandhill cranes, but your timing has to be right.
Was riding south of Medora in Febuary years ago and saw a bunch of them in a field south of town ... biggest group I've ever seen.
Hope to see some on this ride!
unless im looking at the map wrong it doesnt go through Morgantown

Your right it doesn't but I live there so I picked up the route real close.
Hotel room in Tell City is booked.
Not going to make it for the full ride, but I'll probably ride some of the Saturday loop and hang out at @avtechinbtown's place on Saturday. Seems like a good opportunity to see what the 950 can do out there.
I live 1.76 mile's north of the tracks that go past the old Bartlettsville store. But 1TRAK and the other guy's from Michigan are meeting me at my place and were riding to Taylorsville to kick off the ride.
Mike (BlueFargo) and I are in for both days. Just got back from doing the KAT last night. Will bore you with stories of that, if you want to listen. I can't recommend the KAT strongly enough to you all

We should be at the Waffle house around 8:15 Saturday morning, maybe sooner.
What time are people meeting on Saturday morning to start?
