Yes camping in those months can be cold, not as cold here as where you live though. You almost need to have a camper rig to be comfortable that time of year, you know, like a Van ;)

    I'm in.
I rode for a couple hours on new years at Browns camp a couple years ago, had a fire so it was fine.

Hell, big enough fire in the winter at some staging area and a quick lap on an easy trail counts, right?

    And warm whiskey drinks...

There is a Puget Sound Trialers event this Saturday at Reiter. Hopefuly they will get a flyer created soon to share the specifics.

Also Endurocross is in Everett in a couple weekends. The first portion of the day up until about 4 or 5 pm is free. In the past, you entered thru the pits. After qualifying is over, they kick everyone out until the night show starts. There will be a schedule up for the Everett Round sometime soon.

    WHEN: Saturday, November 18
WHERE: Secret location (about an hour from Portland). Stay tuned!

Plan to meet at 9am, ride leaves around 11am.

If you've done this ride before, you already know how much fun it is. If you haven't, you should! Will it be another Snowmageddon? Will more than two riders be able to complete the course? Will there be omelettes?! Only one way to find out.

Saw this on my FB feed and thought I'd check it out. They're showing off their Baja 1000 race bike and Alpinestars is demonstrating their Tech-Air race suit. Food, booze, music. Triumph of Seattle on Aurora, Friday 10/27 - 6pm-??

OLYMPIA TOYS FOR TOTS RUN DEC 2 , 2017

    http://olytoyrun.com/#!/up
the following is taken from the link above

    Olympia Toy Run Overview
The Olympia Toy Run brings motorcyclists together for a very worthy purpose: the joy of a child receiving a gift at Christmas. All the toys and money are donated to The Salvation Army for distribution to needy kids through its Toy n’ Joy Shop. Strapped to bikes four abreast in row after row are lots and lots of brand new children’s toys. Gleaming bikes sport different names and badges and colors and their riders range from all-season diehards to weekend enthusiasts. For this day, we are one sister/brotherhood of riders thinking of the smiles our toys will bring to kids’ faces.

The roaring thrum of thousands of motorcycle engines fills the crisp December air. But this is not a day just for motorcyclists as tens of thousands of spectators line the parade route, excitedly waving, calling and whistling to the riders. Both directions of the street are closed to all but motorcyclists, yet drivers on side streets honk and wave. Though riders come from all over to participate in this event, it’s a day to be proud of Olympia, the fellowship that brings us together and the goal we accomplish. It’s thrilling, breathtaking, moving…and downright fun.

We hope you’ll join us in helping bring smiles to children’s faces at Christmas. In the meantime, we wish you safe and happy motoring!

    Throwing a couple dates around.........
I'm thinking that the Crooked River gig oughta go back to March 22-25 at Chimney Rock CG
This is the weekend before Oregon Schools' Spring Break, and the weekend before Easter this year.

Barlow or Bust; May 23-28, at Forest Creek CG on the old Barlow Rd.
Winter is here, I know,....but I'm ready now :nod

I'd voice a preference to not do Barlow on Memorial Weekend.
