This is a weekend designed for all levels of experience to have fun. We will have different levels of Adventure Bike Groups as well as Dual Sport groups of A, B and C. We will also have a D group for any bike, for folks who just want to dip their toe into off road riding.

Where: Gold Head Branch State Park, Keystone Heights, Fla
    Phone 352-473-4701 Reservations 800-326-3521

Rally Fee: There is No Fee

This Front Page will get updates as logistics are ironed out. Check back here for latest news. Expect most things to be the same as past years. We do try to change some things because the other way sucked :jack

The State Park has Cabins, RV spots and Tent camping. You are expected to make your own arrangements.

We have reserved Group Camp Site #3 for folks who find the place is booked up. It is reserved under the name CADS. Tell them that is where you are going. It is $5 a head per day so no big deal.

For those who may be new to this event, there are several State Parks in this area in addition to Ocala National Forest. We use these areas to spend the weekend riding around.

As usual, we will have some rides lead out on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Also, expect many changes to the GPS routes, so those will be emailed out right before the event.

IF YOU WANT ROUTES EMAILED TO YOU THEN SEND ME A PM (WITH) YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS

The reason these will be last minute is because mother nature likes to play with us too. We pre-ride this and develop them over the next several months leading up to the big event. Then MN drops trees, rain and all sorts of end of times fun at us requiring us to re-route and change stuff. :deal

The Big Day is Saturday. That day will have lead rides for, Adventure Bike Routes for A and B riders, Dual Sport Routes for A, B and C riders. A Level D group for any off road bike. As well as a "street only" ride, so everyone can join in on the fun.

The A- D group definitions. At this Rally this is what you can expect for each Group, with regard to riding style and desires with riding with others.

    A) Group - This is for those that are or have been "A" racers. They still think they are racing. If you are even wondering if this is your group, it is not.

    B) Group - Folks in this group have been riding off road and in sand for many years. They could hang with the A group, but folks in this group have jobs and family. So they are interested in a fast pace, but expect to rest every so often. Folks usually do not ever fall in "B" group.

    C) Group - is for "normal" folks. These folks want to ride at their own pace. They may fall on occasion, however this is not their first rodeo. They are very capable, but want to enjoy the day without pressure to perform like a teenager.

    D) Group - This is for Newbies to sand. Now, you may have been riding a street bike for 40 years, however if you are new to Florida Sand, you belong in this group. This group will be focused on building skills necessary to ride in the area sand. It will have folks going slower and falling more. The slower pace will be on purpose, to help the falling more be less hurtful.
