Thanks to the CADS crew for another fantastic weekend. Weather was totally crazy, but just part of the game.

Thanks Pete and Dave for leading rides Friday and Saturday. Cotton for lunch, and dinner Friday and Saturday night was spot on. What other ADV rally has cook your own steak night?!

Hope the KTM that took a swim comes out of the ER safe and sound. Definitely a story for years to come!

Not just an elite Florida rally, but maybe the best I've been to, period.

With that said, slightly used 1977 XT500 for sale.

Gently used and never raced? Not even against the FU?

Also wanted to say a huge "Thank You" to Rich, Nick, Bill, all the leads, sweeps; and everyone that was involved with the event. It was really fun and easy going....basically just go ride bikes w/ like minded individuals! Fridays ride w Nick was a great ride and Sat B+ really helped my riding. It was great to meet everyone and I owe the KTM 6 days rider a bandana (it kept my neck from freezing) and a tube to the bloke w the Star Bright shirt! Can't wait till next year!

A Big thanks to all the folks that put the event together. We had a great time and appreciate everyone's efforts. Saturday's ride in Ocala was excellent after the rain. Trail conditions were near perfect and made freezing our asses off worth it. Met some really cool people and learned some things riding with better riders.

Here's a formal salute to everyone and a suggestion for a Polar Bear shirt slogan courtesy of my bro Coach. Wish he had it on when he gracefully exited his bike unwillingly!!

Glad he's OK. Did he find the pieces? I always super glue those back together.
Not that I've ever done that!

His knee is a bit sore. He has another fairing, and he will repair fender and headlight. He's tough, he'll be fine.

I made it back to Naples last night about 9:30. Cold ride with the wind, but it warmed to 60° by the time I got home.
A few things are sore today: shoulders, back, thighs, legs, and other assorted. That was two days of hard riding, but I had a blast!
I had a bunch of slow speed drops and one fast hard somersault. Why do I ride this bike! I love riding the single track then I can load it up heavy and cruise home at a moderate 85 MPH. [IMG][IMG]

I'd like to thank everyone who invested time and sweat as well as money to make the Polar Bear a great event!
The B ride I went on Saturday was great! I was challenged and tested a few times as well as thouroughly entertained.
Here are the rest of the photos. Thanks Alex for leading a great ride! Nice dismount! Sorry I couldn't follow that up. Mine was earlier.....

Had a great time at our first PBR. Thanks to CADS for hosting a great event, to Cotton for the awesome lunch, the awesome dinners, and our Group C ride leader Dave.

We were the group that had the "KTM diving accident" at Belmore State Forest. The rider was just behind me. Special thanks to MotoMike for helping us get it dried out enough to get it out to the trailer.

Polar Bear 4, it didn't suck. :D Thanks to everyone that showed up despite the forecast, it wasn't as bad as predicted. And thank you to all the ride leaders, sweeps, and especially Cotton, Tommy, and Ellen and Bill Wilder for their hospitality and food. :dukegirl Alex for procuring the ribeyes, Eric for the grills, and Rich for everything else while making it look easy. :bubba

Also thanks to all the sponsors for whom without it wouldn't be possible. And..thanks to Rob and Eloy for leading A and A- (B+) because we don't have anyone that can stay out in front of those guys. :deal

Last but not least thanks to Nick for spending several of his Friday nights at Dunkin Donuts helping me translate a bunch of lefts and rights into GPS tracks. :thumb

Dave and I got down to the forest for a little riding on Saturday and hit parts of B and A.

We ran into a few groups here and there, but we weren't exactly sure who these last guys were. :ricky

Well played CADS and all those who contributed. It really is a fun weekend and that's 100% due to you folks!
The level of organization is up there with the fellowship and jocularity.
Here's 60 seconds of Fridays ride.

Great to meet everyone. I got lost of Saturday and ended up with a B Group before my clutch failed. Would love to see any pictures or videos of that ride.

Two riders helped me on the Highway – who are you? I would like to thank you and see if you are okay after the bump start crash.
