Thanks for posting this information on the BMW MOA rally in July.

If anyone needs a bike/stuff transported TO the MOA rally in Des Moines IA from the Washington DC area, I willing to consider transporting it in my Tundra.
If anyone needs a bike/stuff transported FROM the MOA rally to Salt Lake City, I'm willing to consider transporting it in my Tundra.
If anyone has the ability to transport a WR250R from Sante Fe NM to the MOA rally, please let me know!

I'm making a silly VLOG on youtube about my first MOA rally. I'm up to episode 2 and will probably have one more prep episode leading up to July. It's for entertainment purposes only (mostly mine), although the first episode almost comes off as a coffee commercial.

Does anyone know if there’s a single day admission option to this Rally?

Part II for anyone who's interested. I have a bike maintenance episode planned next. This one has less coffee and lots of rowing.

One question that's come up is that we will be arriving Wednesday afternoon. Will we be able to get in and camp, or should we plan on not being able to get in a day early?

Typically the only people with early access are rally volunteers.

Last year at Utah it was a little different as it appears a couple hundred people just made their way in early due to lax security. But you can't count on that, and it's kind of a dick move, so I'd plan on not being able to.

Think they had to lock that side gate in Salt Lake last year. People were slipping in.

Still wondering if I want to ride the straight boring roads of Iowa in the middle of July. I have a room booked if anybody needs one. Don’t think I’ll be making it this year.

But, you'll miss out on the heat. The humidity. The insect population!
