Are the Goler steps still all dozed out? I heard the park service had pretty much flattened them.

I've never done the Striped Butte run... and would be up for doing that loop this year! Finn's pics he posted one year were amazing!

    Hi Jack,

I (on my 990) and Diego (Perro from Hell on his 690) did Steel Pass last year. It was my first time so I can’t compare it to previous years but it was rocky for sure and gave us a good work out all the way from Hot Springs to the dunes.
I wouldn’t do it other way on a big bike since there were 2 big steps right before the dunes.
That being said, I am so glad I did it. It was one of the more challenging but fun rides I did in DV.

Yes, I'll take care of all the special requests but like Joel said, please DO NOT SEND ANY PM's and instead post up here. So we have the date/time stamp and I can go over page by page to add everyone to the list. I'll start the list later this week.
    Thank you.

Ersin - Please put me down for site #27.
I expect Chu will want to share that spot as usual.
If things work out this year, I may be there all week :evil

peeps wanting a RV site, you have a good chance of getting a spot if you have a passenger. minimum 2 occupants per RV site.

Core volunteers get to pick the RV spot, we'll keep 2 sites; will post up later which sites.
