In! (If there's any more tent space left) Friday + Saturday dinner
1 truck, 1 bike. Read the first post but couldn't quite tell, will trucks be parking in the tent camping area if sleeping in the bed?

thanks for joining. sleeping on the truck bed, you're fine.

we recommend those pulling a trailer to either move trailer or truck to the overflow parking. keep the one in the campsite so we make room for others.

Planning on trailering the beast (Super Tenere) from Canada (due to it still being winter up here in March). I will tent camp and do the three dinners. Calendar marked to register Jan 1.

I have been to DV a few times on past trips to the SW US. This rally looks like a great way to kick off my riding season.

Thanks, any excuse to get away from the ice and snow!!

Happy to chat, either at the rally or before. PM me when you want to start the dialogue. In the meantime, have a look at the Mountain Section of the TCAT on the gravel travel website. Here is the link.

    /Political rant on

I saw, back in November, a post talking about Ballarat, PLEASE keep this in mind when you pass through there.
The folks that own the store actively worked with the BLM to CLOSE Surprise Canyon. I belong to the Jeep Club that owns the property in Panamint City. They spent THOUSANDS of dollars fighting the closure only to find they were fighting The Center for Biodiversity, which the Ridgecrest BLM manager was in bed with (he went to work for them after he left the BLM).

Rocky even hid in the hills around the canyon and fired on the Jeepers in the canyon before the gate was erected. I have no idea what his motive was or why he supported a closure, but he did.

A simple request, please don't support Rocky and his Son.
