You are fine. Most of the complaints on loud pipes come when someones only mechanical ability is to rev their bike until midnight thinking that will fix it. :bash Just show a little consideration around camp and save your braaaaaaping for the desert.

what rjnutt said. let me know if you haven't found it yet.

matt, as one of the original noob riders, you had missed the last 12th rallies. come and join us.

there are some technical rides not far from camp that a small bike would be preferred. many of the routes require long distances. a rider with a decent skill will probably take the 650.

ask little bike. she rode her 250 from temecula fully loaded...:nod

also remember a young rider on a tw200 and another one on a klx250 from riverside.

just use caution. i have aftermarket pipes and slighty louder than stock. but there are others who are loud, and no one or rules that can really stop them.

also keep in mind while in camp when people are in bed or early morning, it may not be a good practice to rev up, or when riding in an area where there are tourists or hikers.

unlikely to happen but it can happen getting poked in the butt

the line was about 100 riders long

I’d be interested in learning some roadbook rally navigation if anyone with skills feels like putting together a ride for that.

Figured I’d throw it out there to gauge interest ahead of time. I should have an xr650r built out with an iPad mini by then.

And all the FS did was put a sign up that said "Free poke in the butt!" and the riders came from miles and miles around.

I was thinking......since we always bring a bump in tourism to the Panamint Valley we could spread further goodwill and prosperity by.......wearing these.
