Typically it's unguided rides on Friday aling with chili at Cotton's. Saturday has all the big rides as listed on page one with a few group rides on Sunday morning as well.

Yes. The big ride days are Friday and Saturday (meaning organized). We send out GPS routes for Friday and Saturday to those that would like them. Friday and Saturday also had lead rides. Saturday also has a street ride for those that want to only be on pavement. Sunday is a Group ride as well, which is a lead ride. That said, folks start coming into the State Park on the weekend before. Wednesday usually has group riding to get "warmed up". To sum up, there are "some" who actually ride :lol3
I updated the front page with more "useful" information.

I'm in! Booked site 66 for Friday - Sunday. It says max # of vehicles is 2, 2 tents, and 8 people.

Do they enforce the 2 vehicle rule or is that juts the maximum recommended? Looks like you could fit a lot more in there.

*Also, if I have a bike on a trailer does that count as two vehicles?

If you paid for just you and haul a bike on trailer that's what you get.But we had 4 tents on one sight last year for a night. So I think if you just tell them what you want they will work with you.Nice people !

It's all about communication. This pic was a rally I hosted over near Pensacola at a Florida State Park. This was one of several sites that we had at least 4 or more tents on. I lost count of how many are in the pic. ALOT.

I talked to the rangers and they were cool about it. Not saying you can or should pack them in like this, but a little conversation goes a long way towards them bending the rules a little. We even moved all the tables from six different sites to two adjacent sites for group meals. But when we left, it was exactly as we found it. THAT is important.

We had one site a few years back with about 9 of us. They let us get by with it, but IIRC, they did ask Bill et al to do our best to respect the limit. If you have a few extra tents or bikes I don’t think they will say anything, but if you have more than say 3 cars, that wouldn’t look very good. We’ve had to do minimal apologizing over the years, probably be good to keep it that way.
