Think you are spending to much time on DR Google Pez.
Although the KDX looks like fun

    Well . . . . . I have some interesting developments regarding Reg. . . . .

I have located a bit of a Unicorn of an engine for Reg and will be picking it up on Friday night.

Its a sweet 1981 Suzuki GT200X5 Motor :pynd

What makes this rather rare engine so attractive is it's a compact aircooled 2 stroke 200cc twin , has Oil injection and has electric start.

Took some measurements on Monday night and with a small hammer and lever it should fit ito Reg :thumb

It needs a bit of loving . . . . but it will be a great motor to get to Pooncarie

Already started designing the expansion chambers and a few other accessories :-)

The old Suzis I had all ended up needing the barrel end of the bolts helicoiled (may be too much enthusiasm on the spanners) but worth checking the threads they don't run too flash if they pull a bolt .

Quick power upgrade is silver frost paint and no head gasket

Hot Dogs make easy chambers thick enough to weld bits in vary the header length for top or bottom end

    Cant wait to see it

I hope you didn't pay too much for that engine. The valves are missing from the head. Its gunna cost you big bucks to put them back in!
