I'd ride it (for a bet) at an airfield... :dunno

... with an ambulance, fire brigade tender, the bomb squad and a hazmat containment team on standby... :lol3

Nice. Had a GS500 about 10 years ago. I've been toying with this idea for a couple years for when my dodgy knees don't want to hold the 'Strom up any more.
Basic and simple. No computers, fuel injection, abs, radiator.

It still needs a bit of finishing off. Currently fitting a Trail tech dash and about to start sorting out the electrics. So we're a little way off riding it yet.

Gee Russ that GS500 looks great!!!

I must say Reg is coming apart much quicker than he went together :-)

A quick look in the ports shown there isnt too much damage to the PE175 motor . . . luckily enough

@buckscreek is coming over for a play date Friday night . . . . who knows what shenanigans will ensue ???? :1drink

Looks like the 200 will fit with a slight top rear engine mount modification. I will have to make the top rear mount a little wider as the frame brackets are 100mm wide. Lug on the engine is 105mm.

Will try to use a DR600 airbox I have here if I can so I can keep the PE175 airbox intact.

    I will even be able use a standard DRZ400 - 112 link - 520 chain :1drink
